Worse vehicle I ever had

I bought this frontier because I had two nissan harbodys before which were very reliable but on this frontier started to have problems when I only had six years of ownership of this vehicle that I bought brand new. the first problems I had was with the catalytic converter failing and I mean both of them passenger and driver side. luckyly at that time the vehicle was not eight years old and had not reach the eighty thousand miles and the dealer had to replace those catalytic converter. but after that they fail again incurring in twenty five hundred dollar repair because on the second time the catalytic converters were no longer under warranty so I had to pay that out my pocket . not to mention AC problems having to replace the AC compressor and ac lines that fail out nothing and just to mention I didn't know cars had knock sensor I learn that with this truck at a very expensive cost. and I could continue listing all the problems I've had with this truck but it would take me all night to do it and it would make this comment to long like for example an AC line that fail twice how is that possible even when you buy OEM parts. Any way to end this comment it is the worse pickup truck I've ever had I could continue on and on but I think you get the idea.

Favorite ride ive ever owned

Ive got a 2004 supercharged king cab with the manual transmission, (so the funnest one) and I absolutely love it. Dumping the clutch at 4500 rpms will leave you burning some rubber for sure. Keep in mind, its not the fastest ride, but it sure as hell is fun to drive. 🤙🤙

2nd best vehicle I've owned

When I turn, sometimes there's a pop noise that comes from my front left tire. Also my rod for my door handle snapped off. Steering its a little tough too.

It's been a love, hate deal, until I found her swe

As one reviewer stated, she's never failed to start and go, until now that is 202, 772 miles still runs killer she s over due for valve cover gaskets and a new knock sensor. She won't start at the moment but she didn't let me down, I let her down bottom line she's a work horse, you can ride her hard and opt her away wet and she's right there ready to roll when you sadel back up. Treat her right and she won't fail. Circumstances made me have to push just a little too much ,for too longllllllong !! And she sits and waits, she won't have to wait long I've got parts and I've got time, a loaner truck for a week.. Rock and roll I didn't it out or break her some more Lol time to stop talking and get eerrrr done. .

Should have bought a Toyota

Number one it’s super charged, all that means is you have to use super expensive premium gas. I think my Prius has more power than this truck. I can’t understand why people think these Nissan frontier‘s hold their value, but I guess if the value is zero they’re correct. Not impressed, and never will buy another Nissan frontier.

Reliable, Versatile & Easy on the Bottomline

This truck starts and runs. Always. Aside from normal scheduled maintenance, a new set of tires and some wiper blades, I have had zero expense. No breakdowns or mechanical failures of any kind. I put a custom camper on it (675 pounds), and it didn't blink a headlight. Performed like the champ that it is! Can pull up to 5000 lbs. The backseat of the crew cab is smallish, so I took out the seat and put in a plywood platform--which is a good place for my large dogs to ride. The 4-wheel-drive is great for smoothly getting me up my very steep driveway in any kind of weather. Gas mileage is acceptable for this size truck. Maneuvering the Long Bed version in tight quarters is a little annoying, but, not a deal-breaker for me. I LOVE this truck!

Excellent daily driver

Bought my '04 Frontier in March of '19 with 128K miles. I use it daily to drive to and from work. The gas mileage is excellent. Easy to drive and plenty of bed room to haul things. I would not trade force bigger or newer truck. It fits all my needs.

Will leave you sitting by the road

I have over $2000 in repair in the last year it’s only at 160,000 miles. About to be at 4K cause the xxxx thing slipped the timing belt.

Amazing vehicle all around!

I love everything about my Nissan Frontier! Although it is not ideal for a larger family, it worked perfectly for me as a single high school & college student. It is very reliable and I never have any problems. I use it to commute and occasionally haul things.

238k miles

I bought my 2004 nissan new and just experienced my first major freeway breakdown. 2nd timing chain and water pump. It has been an incredibly reliable truck and think it may be time (reluctantly) for another. I'll try for another 50k😊 though
