Good truck
This truck is a good first vehicle for a new driver. It?s easy to drive and reliable. Very good gas mileage for a truck. Overall about a 8/10

A good truck: Nissan Frontier
I purchased this vehicle new. It has served me well for more than ten years. It is a relatively small truck, but it has a good amount of power. I mostly use it for commuting and driving around rather than actual truck activities but when I have used it to move large things, it again has done me well.

Great truck
Great truck to buy. Good space in the back. Bed has a lot of room. Rides smooth. I owned a Tacoma before this. Both are great, but the Frontier is a lot easier to ride in.

Great truck for the value.
For what you pay, the truck is great. I've had no problems with towing or hauling anything. And the truck has been super reliable as well.

Looked at and test drove at least 100 trucks
Over the course of a 30 day period i test drove over 100 different trucks and SUV"s . When i was all done there were two vehicles i narrowed it down to the Ford Explorer sport trac and the Nissan frontier Crew cab. But when it came down to it The Nissan was a better choice with the v-6 mileage rating over the Fords V-8

It's a good truck
The 2006 Nissan Frontier is a good truck to me, it looks nice, although i think interior designs could be better, but it's acceptable, the performence is fine, same with reliability even though this truck had some problems, it made a great comeback, however, it's a little uncomfortable, but overall, I still like this truck, and I think the money's worth a shoot.

Best Truck I have ever owned.
I bought my 2006 Frontier LE 4x4 new and it has been the best truck I have ever owned. It is really quick and easy to drive. The 4x4 option is easy to activate and I use it when it is raining hard on the highway for added traction. No fear of skidding or hydroplaning. The bed liner and rail tie down system is a fantastic option. All kinds of storage compartments. And the roof rack comes in handy for that long lumber or extension ladders you need to carry. I have 230,000 miles on it now.At 65000 secondary timing chain tensioners. Catalytic converter twice, Don't buy cheap auto parts brand my mistake. Fuel gauge sensor and u joints for both drive shafts. Spent about 5,000.00 on above repairs at dealer. Looked at 2015 models and they are identical except they don't sell this model any more. Handy and functional for a do it yourself home owner in the suburbs that likes to take popup camper and motorcycle on vacation trips. At 120,000 I started using synthetic oil and only use premium gas now. The paint has never faded. (Gunite color). Its not perfect but It has been everything I could have asked for in a truck and still running strong. And the best part of my truck is its paid for.

Good buy
The Nissan Frontier seems like a very good quality vehicle for my needs. It handles well, rides comfortably and so far is getting around 16 mpg in city driving. The V-6 engine is adaquate for towing and hauling. The extended cab version I have does not seat more than 2 comfortably ,but allows some storage inside. It was a good buy .

Not recommended
8 yrs owning Frontier. Happy w/ features & perf initially. Use for reg road comm. @ approx 85k-90k miles, the radiator+trans issue occurred @ $7k. Steering bearings, timing chains, cat converter failed. Then engine & transmission gaskets. Followed by fuel injector. Next, crank sensor. Highly UNrecommend Nissan based on our 8 years of unreliable performance. Never missed maintenance, yet still many problems.
