Excelent truck with lots of power
Enjoyable to drive very reliable and a good looking truck. The only thing that could make this truck better is a larger passenger area and bed. For this segment though it is a great truck!

It is ok for a very small truck.
The truck is capable for towing and carrying small loads, but the back has very little leg room. The interior is sparse, but meets all of the basic needs.

Great mid-size pickup truck
I've owned several other mid-size trucks, but my 2006 Nissan Frontier is hands-down my favorite. I used to own a Dodge Dakota with a 4.7L V8 - compared to that truck the Frontier has a lot more power and handles WAY better than my old Dakota. My Frontier has 160,000+ miles on it and has required very few repairs - wheel bearing went out and the steering column bearing also went out. Other than those two things it's just been brakes and normal maintenance. I've used it to tow a mid-size camper and it had plenty of power for that task. I've never had a problem starting it either, even in temps down to -30F. I now have 3 growing kids and an 80 lb dog, so unfortunately I've outgrown the mid-size truck segment, but I would definitely buy another Frontier if I was in the market.

I bought it used and regretted it.
I bought a used vehicle here and the engine literally blew up the next day (head gasket and two pistons). I asked if they would refund the purchase but they said the only option was for me to pay for parts to fix the engine. They rebuilt the head of the engine with their labor but it cost me an extra $1000 and they had the vehicle for 3 weeks. If you have read any other reviews on this dealership you may have seen comments about excessive dealer inspection fees. Mine was $598 on my paperwork but after rebuilding the engine they admitted that the vehicle had never been inspected and it was evident that the oil had never even been changed. Of course they were adamant that the labor cost them over $2000 to have their shop do the work but ok. None the less I got it back for a week and discovered that the a/c didn't work. Went back and they said they just forgot to reconnect it when putting the motor back together. I had it for almost a week and a half and then the fan motor burned out and would not blow heat or air and it was leaking oil. I take it back to them and they replaced the fan motor and fixed the oil leak that was caused by them installing the wrong size oil cooler gasket when rebuilding the engine. That took about a week. I get it back and have it for almost two whole weeks when the transmission goes out and will no longer go forward and the engine has burned another quart of oil. At this point I asked that they buy the vehicle back because it was obviously unrepairable. After weeks of back and forth and never getting return calls from anyone they essentially offered to give me rough trade in value for the vehicle or close to what they thought they could wholesale auction it for. Since I had no other option I ended up eating a $3,200 loss not to mention months of stress and inconvenience. The people were nice and never rude but they were often hard to get in touch with, not good to return calls, and I feel like I was left holding the bag for buying a bad vehicle that was not "inspected". When the engine blew up I suppose they could have just said tough luck but they could have also stood behind their product which is what you would expect from a reputable dealership. I would have expected something like this from a shady fly by night dealership but I would have thought a Toyota dealership would be better.

This car tested the limits of my wallet
I have driven other Frontiers. I have family members with Frontiers. To be honest amongst this small circle of Frontier owners my car seemed to be the only one in and out of shop every couple months. I really think I bought a lemon, and I don't think it was the type of car. I wondered at times if I had a defective car or one from the Katrina Hurricane?

Love the NISMO
Blast to drive, very comfortable and yet powerful. NISMO/Pro 4x model has a rear locker as well! Turning radius sucks, but other than that, great truck!

Best bang for your buck!
I just picked it up used from a ford dealership. The truck serves its purpose as an affordable utility truck for myself and my family.
