Most Reliable and Fun Car I've Ever Owned

I've never been more pleased with a car. Not only did I save tons of money - with the federal, state, and local rebates, plus avoiding gas stations for years! - but it handles well because the battery causes its weight to be low, and it accelerates fast because the power's electric and right there all the time! Great interior room, too - moved chairs in it.

Everyone should have an electric car

This car rocks! It's sleek, quiet, peppy and fun. And it's helping Mother Earth. My only frustration is that the charger infrastructure in the city/across the USA isn't further developed.

Best commuter vehicle

This EV is saving me about $300/mo in gas from commuting 54mi a day. It works as a perfect commuter vehicle and it's fun to drive!

Love the LEAF!

I?ve owned the LEAF for about 18 months and love it. All electric means no costs for gas or oil. It?s smooth and fun to drive. I previously drove an SUV and do not feel like I lost much interior space at all. While I love the car, it?s not for everyone. Limited range makes it perfect for smaller towns or short commutes. My S model does not have a quick charge option, nor are there quick charging stations in my area. This is not the car for you if you drive long distances.

Nice performing with decent feature set

I was looking to replace an aging car I just use for short trips. So toa put-your-enviro-creds-where-your-mouth is, I looked at used Leafs (with ~80 mi max range). Well, after realizing the tax creds were still there, it made sense to buy a new one with the 150mi range. I haven't pushed the range yet, so I can't say anything intelligent about range anxiety. And that is a big concern. I got the tech package, which contains all those safety features the ads show . They mostly work, but sometimes they don't (i.e.; dynamic cruise control can kick off when the person in front of you peels off -- even if there is someone just in front of him). So while they offer safeguards, one must not be complacent.

The best smooth comfortable drive

So far I love this all electric car, exactly what I need. Drives like a dream and saving money on not purchasing gas and insurance and no DEQ. Love contributing to the green footprint

Best car I've owned

This is an amazing car. I love driving by gas stations and never having to stop. It is comfortable and quiet and REALLY seats 2 average sized adults in the back. The hatchback is deceptively larger than you think: I don't need to take my bike wheel off, I can throw it in the back easily. Not emitting carbon monoxide is a benefit for our planet.

80 miles per dollar, and ~no maintenance!

You can't beat these things. I owned a 2011 Leaf for over 5 years (older battery chemistry, range degraded too much), now own a 2014 and 2015. Perfect commuter, range up to 100 miles, less in the winter, and it degrades a bit over time. If you don't need more than ~50 miles per day, you can't beat these, and they'll serve you well for years, even with a bit of degradation, or in the winter (less efficient).

Love the leaf.

Range is obviously an issue, but if you dont mind that then owning the nissan leaf is nearly perfect in every other way. Low to zero maintaince, fun to drive, never uses gas, makes you feel good about driving again - that you arent messing up the planet - at least as much as a gas car.
