good car

I've had my Maxima since 2005 and it's been a very nice car. Very fast; Very reliable, but had to replace the transmission. But overall I really like this car. Hopefully will get another one.

Smooth Operator

This is a really nice car. The car has a nice power kick to it and it drives smooth. It's a nice comfortable car which has plenty of leg room. I love my car.

Dumb car..

This car is terrible. The transmission is the worst. Keeps sliiping and giving hard jerks. Worst car ever!

Wost Car Ever

I've had this car for two years now. I bought it used in 2009 and have since put about half of it's value into repairs. It is by far the most unreliable car I have ever owned or seen for that matter. I will NEVER buy another Nissan EVER again. To anyone who is reading this... STAY AWAY. Save yourself thousands of $$ and purchase a more reliable car.

Longest I have ever owned a car - Love it!

This car is fast, handles curves, and looks great doing it. Oh, by the way its a 4-door with a hidden sports car inside. I get 24mpg average (mix driving) and I have seen 32mpg on a long trip. Worst gas mileage is 22mpg, but that's with jack rabbit starts and spinning tires (not normal driving unless you like buying tires). As far as the inside I have had 5 adults ride comfortable and plenty of trunk space. Reliability - just put gas in it and drive.

Maxmia: Reliable, Luxurious & Fun!

This car has been wonderful for me. It performs like a champ but also has the luxury & comfort inside that I love. It has been the best car I've ever owned by far, I'd HIGHLY recommend it to anyone.

Hot and just OMG the best car ever.

Well for a car that you just plain down want to be the talk of the town in..the maxima is perfect for you. With mine, I have gotten countless comments at the gas station you wouldn't even believe. As for power..well there's just no comparison. NONE. It is the fastest 4 door car I have ever been in. 0-60 in less than 7 seconds probably 6. Even though with the longer wheelbase, you can fly through those hairpin turns and think nothing of it. Best center of gravity in a car ever. Love it love it love it. Very touchy throttle and steering..and it is absolute heck for maintenence and parts cost a ton of money. But because of the reliability, you won't be sending it to the shop that much. I reccommend the Maxima to anybody. Great car.

This Car Is Not for Parents!

As the mother of twin 4 year old girls, having to actually get inside the car to buckle them in is a bit of a hassle, to say the least. The belts move nicely but the buckle itself also moves making it a moving target on the inside of the side of a toddler and car seat....the children have to either have me sit nearly upon them as I stand crouched outside the car or I can merely get into the floorboard to buckle them in. This does not seem safe and is certainly not convenient. Other than that great complaint and the lack of ventilation offered from the a/c in the back seat, the car itself drives well. It is a nice, sleek auto with great looks inside and out but is not functional for a family with kids in car seats! No kids, get your groove on, it has a lot of oooomph and is very attractive inside and out. The gas mileage leaves a lot to be desired for real drivers, but you would look great at the pumps!

To much road noise

For a luxary car, this has a lot of road noise. The gas milage is awful, or at least according the info on the screen, which is not correct but has never been able to be fixed. I am not sold on Nissan's customer service either. Comparing Nissan to a Honda Accord, I much prefer the Accord not only for the car itself but the service is much more customer friendly.

Performance Rules!!!

This is the most powerful Maxima to date. 265hp is more than enough to get this sedan moving. But it does cause it to guzzle a great deal. I get roughly 22 MPG, but I get it's worth it.
