Excellent car

This car has plenty of leg room and i enjoy the interior as well. It has plenty of trunk room and I would refer this car to others also.

Great new (er) car

So far this car made me very happy with my purchase! I like Nissans new styling on some of their vehicles, Interior is alot more comfortable than I thought it would be and the power and gas mileage is great from the engine. I have been a toyota person but they are pricing themselves out of customers and I think Nissan would be a good choice to try and am very happy with it, would purchase again if they dont price themselves out. My only fear is the CVT transmission, there is alot of bad reviews on these transmissions, not just Nissan but all of them, so holding my breath on that.

My 6th Maxima

This is my 6th Maxima. I hadn't planned on getting another one just yet, but my wife test drove another car as well as this one, and now she's been bitten by the bug.

Worst car to own

CVT transmission is terrible. Don't buy a Maxima or Nissan in this case. Nissan service is the worst too. If you buy , make sure to get any and all warranty they provide!!!

Awesome car I've ever owned

Amazing car, smooth ride feels like floating on air, speed makes you feel like you want to be on a race track. Loaded with everything i want. The seating are very comfortable and great leg room. I've been waiting 26 years to get one of these and now I have one. I'm in love with this car. Its everything i want in a car and more.

Very nice vehicle.

So far, I like this car. It's my second Maxima and it hasn't disappointed. Very comfortable, nice performance, like all the options and it looks sleek even though it's a sedan.

Beware of Nissan

This car look beautiful in and out but beware of looks because they can be deceiving. The last Nissan I own had so many recalls, I was always at the dealership. It was a lemon!

Most expensive cheap car you can buy.

I was so excited to buy this brand new beautiful car with great reviews. After several recalls and issues with rear brind, headliner, breaks, electric system, seat motor on top of it taking several visits for the dealership to fix the flaws for a brand new vehicle the dealership advised me to contact Nissan directly because of how many problems this car had been. 3 filed claims later and even with my very expensive warranty that I purchased they say everything was wear and tear and never cover it but threw in a 5 year extended warranty that i cant use because they dont cover anything. PLZ PLZ PLZ RECONSIDER PURCHASING THIS CAR OR ANY NISSAN THEY ABSOLUTELY DO NOT STAND BEHIND THEIR PRODUCT.

Surprisingly Fun Car

After doing a ton of research, I bought a 2016 Maxima for my wife. We love the car. It isn't the most fuel-efficient commuter a person can buy, averaging about 26 mpg in her regular commute, which involves a lot of stop & go traffic in Southern California; however, the Maxima is a very comfortable car to daily drive. We bought the car with 34k miles on the odometer, and it's pushing past 50k miles. That's 16k miles in under a year of ownership. We haven't had any major issues pop up (knock on wood it stays that way!). Besides a couple of oil changes, the Maxima has been perfectly fine. The Maxima's performance is awesome, too. It feels like the car has power no matter when the gas pedal is mashed. It picks up speed very quickly. No, it won't suck you into the seat like a BMW M-car or Mercedes AMG, but for a ~3600 lb FWD car with 300 hp, the Maxima is really fun to drive. The interior is also decent looking. The car offers many creature comforts, including dual air conditioning, backup camera, power seats, etc. I hear horror stories about the CVT the Maxima comes with, but we haven't suffered any issues with the transmission so far. I intend to follow the service plan for the CVT anyway, so hopefully, it lasts us the lifetime of the car. The car also looks unique. Some might not like the styling too much, but I think the Maxima is a very attractive car. If you're on the fence about buying one, test drive it. That's all we needed. One test drive and we were sold.
