Looked and looked and looked!

Like I said, I searched for weeks all over western Washington and decided on the 2013 Nissan Rogue. I chose this over the competition mainly because of the gas mileage, drive ability in the city( I live in the Seattle/ Greenlake area), it's looks and cost. I already own a Chevy Trailblazer which is larger and has a bigger engine so this buy was perfect for cruising around the city and our drives around the NW. Seats 5 comfortably, plenty of head and leg room, lots of cargo space, I wish the engine had a little more juice, but it makes up for it in gas mileage ( so far 22 city and 27 hwy). I've only had it 4 weeks now so I don't know about its reliability but I do own an Infiniti QX4 (Nissan) and that baby just go's and go's. So far I would definitely recommend it.

Good Value - In it for the long haul!

I purchased this vehicle several years ago and it was like new. My daily commute has added a lot of miles onto it but it has held up decently. No repairs needed thus far. Performance of the vehicle is a bit lack-luster but compared to other SUVs of its size it seems pretty standard. The engine/transmission is a bit noisy, especially at higher speeds, but the interior features (even for the base model) helps make up for it. Only major complain about this vehicle is the blindspots.

This xterra is fun to drive.

I bought my xterra used with 65,000 miles on it. I had a lift put in the back so I can transport a scooter. The weight of the scooter does not affect the drive of the vehicle.

I miss my rogue

I loved my rogue. I recently got in an accident that sadly totaled my car, but it held up so well compared to the damage it received. It drove well, lots of space for my lacrosse, golf, college packing, trips, etc. I used to drive a GMC truck so the small SUV size was very familiar, but also more practical for its size compared to the Murano. Good car overall. It did have some stuttering problems in the engine at red lights, but other than that, I never had any issues with it mechanically.

I have enjoyed this car since 2012, and still do.

The Rouge is very stylish and comfortable. Very easy to maneuver and has plenty of power. It has plenty of room and plenty of visibility to the exterior. It's amenities are overwhelming, has all you can ask for.

AWD and affordable

I bought this car hoping for a reliable and practical car for the northeast. For practical and responsible people this car is perfect. The car is reliable I bought certified pre-owned, outside of brakes and tires I have experienced no uncovered repairs. The one repair that was required was a gasket on either the oil pan. I have owned for two years, put 50k+ miles on, and am now trading it for a more exciting vehicle. The acceleration is surprising, 0-60 in 8 seconds for this vehicle that is a very good number. I will say however, that my 2005 Impreza was better in the snow. This is not to say the Rogue is bad, the ground clearance is an improvement however in a snow storm the rogue shows its limitations. For the average consumer this is not a problem, you slow down in a storm as the vehicle suggests. In my 2005 Impreza this caution was largely unnecessary. I love space, acceleration, and reliability of this Nissan. I dislike body roll in corners, base models lack of standard features, performance in blizzard conditions.

Will never buy a Nissan again

I have a Rogue SV. Only 5 years old, 172,000 km and my transmission already is gone. They say that the CVT engine is an awesome feature, but what they don't tell you is that you will need to replace your transmission if it is gone! I've had nothing but problems with it. To top it off, my home dealership has the worst service when I would take it in for service. They're great when you want to purchase a car, and then they forget about you. I'm so disappointed with Nissan. I should of purchased the hyandai Tuscan.

It has held up well for the $, after a 2001QX4

It had a hard act to follow, as we had a luxury vehicle from Nissan which we enjoyed since it was new, and we were downsizing after kids grew up.
