2007 Sentra 2.0S CVT Auto
Bought the car new and did a lot of research and comparisons online before committing to the Sentra. I love that Nissan remodeled it for 2007. I've been driving a SUV for last couple years or so and was surprise that I didn't feel that low in the Sentra. PROS: roomy for front and rear passengers, steering wheel controls easy & convenient, cd/radio console is very intelligent and love the feature of having a "trip monitor" - it keeps track of avg miles driven, mpg, miles until empty tank and time driven during "trip" which I use reset when I fill up tank. Auto CVT is fantastic and such a pleasure to have!! No shifting jerk and smooth acceleration!! CONS: even though I love the car. There are couple things that bug me little. The side mirrors are too small and weird shaped that I really don't have use for them. I can't really see anything and usually turn my head to see if safe to change lanes or if cars are next to me. 2nd is the side mirror auto controls on the driver door is too far up. I have to lean forward to reach it and keep having to lean forward and back to see if adjusted mirrors correctly. The engine when accelerating a little hard is a little louder than expected, but not a real problem. OVERALL: buy this car, you get more convenience and horsepower than you would w/a Toyota Corolla - they make you pay for the auto convenience. Sentras have a history of reliabilty, which you can't say for the Dodge Caliber - which I was one of my choices of buying a car, but happily decided to go w/the Sentra. Unless you really need your drinks cooled, the Caliber is can't compare. Plus it has that funky hatchback look.

IT HAS NO COMPETITION
Where do I start? Bought a 2007 SL in March 2007, and everyone loves my car and more than a few took my sales person's card to try and buy one. I get looks or compliments almost every other day. SO ROOMY (my 6ft 1in dad gets in and keeps his top hat on, plus has leg room; GREAT GAS (Sometimes I get up to 34 mpg and most times 30-32 mpg/28-29city); SLEEK STYLING (its so luxurious for under $20,000/I paid 17,9.--no one can believe I have Bluetooth; keyless entry; premium leather, sunroof, radio/cd/cruise control buttons on steering wheel, tire, door, radio,& speed sensors); SO SMOOTH (you feel no bumps in the road and for the major ones; its slight); POWERFUL (I don't care what anyone says--it keeps up whenever you need it to). BEYOND FUNCTIONAL (I had to buy a LONG screen door and b/c all the seats let down; I was able to haul it home--didn't have to go get my Chevy Suburban). ALL in all, I am beyond Happy with my car; so worth it and to all the haters...hate on.

MORE THAN I EXPECTED...
Nice car I have had the hatch back Sentra in the past, but I have to tell you as much that car was a slave to my needs the new Sentra seems to be more fragile and more geared towards Luxury. I drive this car everyday and I love the car more and more. The interior scratches easily, but so does my 350z.

WHAT HIGH GAS PRICES ??
Who needs Saudi oil? This car has awesome fuel economy! I am using a very light foot... And I am getting 35.5 mile per gallon in 70% city driving. On the open road, I have reached 38.5 miles per gallon as long as I keep it at 70mph. I use the full tank of gas to calculate mileage at the same gas pump. And best of all, there isn't a single defect to report. Just take my advise and watch out for some Nissan dealers... they are as crooked as Toyota.

I love my Sentra!
I just bought this car a week ago, and have been really pleased with it! I have done both interstate drving and stop-and-go city driving, and I am still getting great gas mileage (31mpg). I got the SL with the leather and all of the bells and whistles, and I have to say, I feel like I am driving a luxury car, without the heavy sticker price! If you are some sort of car-buff, then maybe this car won't have the fancy handling or the horsepower, etc that you want-- but for me, it is perfect! It is reliable, quiet, just roomy enough without being bulky, and easy to drive. I have been thoroughly enjoying my 20+ minute commutes to and from work, and pretty much want to drive it every chance I get. Plus, with the new body style, it looks just like a mini Altima-- but I don't feel like a soccer mom! hahah! I would marry this car if I could. . . seriously, anyone looking for an affordable, cute little car, I would totally recommend it! Plus, you can get a pimped out version for about $20k! Hooray for the sentra! :)

The Best Car on the market
I bought this vehicle because I drive 100 miles a day and needed something reliable. This vehicle is perfect. Great gas mileage and features. I couldn't ask for a better vehicle with better features.

Big, Little Car
Not sure I would as far as living in this car as Nissan ad campaign suggests but it was comfortable for my 6'4" frame. I rented it and pulled off a 600 mile one day drive. I was pleasantly surprised by its comfort and performance although extremely tight steering took getting used to. Even at speeds of 90+ the car took it in stride. I did know it when I had a passenger and their luggage on board -- the car lists easily to the weighted side. Overall, other than the over-steering, the car was a good rental (don't buy the own I rented when it comes up for sale used) and I surely got my money's worth out of it.

Roomy and Lots of Features
Bought the car because of its many features, intelligent key, bluetooth, and roomy interior. It also has a smooth quiet ride and has a good feel to the road. I like the large trunk with a separator partition and the fold down rear seat that creates an area to carry large items. We've driven the car for 2000 miles now and have no rattles or road noise. Gas mileage rating was 29 city 36 highway. This is not obtainable, for I am getting 25 in combined driving, which was disappointing. 30 mpg maybe on trips only.

Best small car for the money
I bought the 2007 Sentra base car for my son. It comes with all the goodies standard except abs(why not?), but it was only $250 additional. I test rode the Civic, Mazda3, and Hyundai Elantra and for the money the Sentra is the heads up winner. The Civic was a bit more refined but not worth the $2000 additional.Plus the sales people are almost rude at the Honda dealer(your not selling Ferrari's). Go give it a ride.
