Super fun car and safe.

This car was in my price range after my car accident and the money I got back for my car when it was totaled. It?s a super nice car, and strong. Reminds me of a Jeep Wrangler but safer and way cheaper to fix since it?s a Nissan.

Okay car , too many sensor issues that add up

I?ve owned my xterra since 2012 bought with 68k . It is now 2018 and I had to put a transmission in at 115k that costed 4 thousand , due to The infamous radiator leak. Do yourself a favor and replace that radiator before 100k and save yourself a huge amount of money. Nissan didn?t do jack for their customers . The lawsuit settlement is laughable, as Nissan knows the failure occurs at 100-110k miles, but they chose not to recall . The will be my last Nissan . The vehicle has too many sensor issues that leave your car paralyzed. In general the vehicle is good , it?s just when an incident does occur your vehicle gives no warning and can ceases up at driving speeds. One last thing check your battery connection regularly for corrosion, as this occurs too often and may cause sensor issues .

Great Value

I loved my Xterra and drove it for nearly 8 years. However near the end it became a money pit. With that being said it did have 183,000 miles so of course things will start to go wrong.

Amazing vehicle so far!!

So far I haven?t owned it long, but I am really enjoying it. Plenty of leg room in the front and back! It is nice and quite in the cab, rides smooth for a bigger SUV. Has a lot of get and go as well. The people that have driven with me, have all said it is a comfortable ride. Only thing that isn?t the greatest is the stereo system. Will be buying some after market(take that with a grain of salt, I am picky with my stereos.)

An Excellent, Ten-Year Old Off-Road Xterra

Have had the car since March 2007. It has been a fantastic vehicle. It is a beast in the snow (I love to go skiing), it is easy to get in and out of for tall individuals, and the Off-Road has been reliable for the entire ten year span of ownership. I have been diligent in keeping up with the scheduled maintenance outlined in the owners manual. On long trips it does drink gas but I knew this when I purchased the Xterra. There is ample room to carry toys, winter and summer. The sound system is excellent.

Most reliable vehicle I've ever owned.

Excellent performance and reliability. Great utility vehicle capable of being used as a family vehicle and a work truck when needed. Plenty of room inside.

Very reliable, powerful, hardworking vehicle

This vehicle is currently at 98,000 miles for us. We are the second owner and it has not given us an issue for the 3-5 years we've had it. Absolutely hard working machine. It is VERY powerful, light, and most importantly, reliable.
