Fantastic Car

I fell in love with it the first time I drove it. I have had for 4.5 years and plan on keeping it for my son when he drives in 3 years. Only complaint is the lack of cup holders in the rear seat.

This is a good car

I've had this car for 3 1/2 years and it's been a really good car. I like the sporty look of the car. It handles great and fun to drive. The back seat isn't as roomy as it could be, and it only has 2 cup holders, that is one of my major problems with this car is it doesn't have any where near enough drink holders, none at all in the back seat.

A Young Parents Dream!

The performance and fuel economy of these cars make it a great choice for young parents who don't want to be stuck driving the mini-vans. The car has alot of room for the kids and yourself, and the get up and go to throw them in the seats. I even keep up with the likes of Firebirds and Camaros. And if tour not worried about performance than be sold by the fuel economy, seating and trunk spaces. You can stuff anything in the trunk of these things. I would suggest you go find someone with the GT version and have them take you for a ride and you will see why I love the 04 Grand Prix.

Not your average family car

When the time came for me to get a new car, the wife and I had some criteria that had to be met. With 3 kids, it had to seat 5. Had to be safe, reliable, good in NH winters, and reasonably priced. Then there was the last thing I really wanted, fun. So we got a 2004 Grand Prix GTP Competition Group. It fits 5 comfortably, has anti-lock brakes, traction control, and stability control. The FWD works great in the snow. When it's not snowy, icy, it's a blast to drive. It has plenty of power. 260 horsepower, 285 lb/ft of torque from the supercharged 3.8 liter. The Competition Group adds upgraded suspension and transmission to make it quicker and more agile than the standard GTP. Also, the Heads Up Display is one of the coolest safety features ever. You see your speed projected on the windshield so it looks like it's hovering right in front of the car. No need to take your eyes off the road to check your speedometer. I know plenty of people complain about the GM interiors, but I love the look of the GP's interior. The center stack is angled towards the driver which makes things easier to see/operate. It's got plenty of room in the trunk for all the stuff you have to tote around with small kids. If you want to get yourself a family car that's not only roomy, but lots of fun to drive, this is a great choice. Or better yet, the now available GXP with the 5.3 liter V8.
