968 Cabriolet
These cars are very unique and getting more rare. Fun to drive especially the manual trans. Be sure to get a PPI if you are looking to buy. Good service and upkeep is a must and will cost $1500. -2000 per year. Higher in years when you have timing belt, tires , brakes , etc. Parts are pricey and you need a shop that has experience- Purchased a Used car

The 968 Excellent Vehicle; Excellent Value
The 968 is an excellent example of Porsche's front-end engine design. It dates back to the older 924 and 944 lines with the 968 being the most desirable. They benefit from parts sharing with the 944 turbo, 928, and 993 911 line. They are often referred to as being Toyota like in their reliability and carry one of the lowest- Purchased a Used car

The Best of the best
I own a 1983 944 with 235,000 miles, a 1986 951 with 36,000 miles and a 1995 968 cab, auto with 25,000 miles. Plus I've owned more than I can list. This car is the best of the best. Sure you have to take care of them, but they are worth it. I do all my own work on them, once you get to know them you'll discover the worlds best- Purchased a Used car

Great driver, but outrageous maintenance demands
I had a 1995 968 coupe with the Tiptronic transmission for 4 years. I loved driving it for the accelleration and the handling. It was pretty practical for a sports car too, because the rear cargo area held a surprising quantity of stuff you might want to bring along; I even transported a lawn mower in the back of it a few times.- Purchased a Used car
