2014 RAM 1500 consumer reviews

Recently purchased this vehicle and i have grown quite accustomed to it! Body and bumpers all the same color (as it is the Express trim), SMOOTH ride, QUIET, and the space is amazing. The radio is very basic, but the sound system is nice! Not much storage space on this trim model (two small pockets under rear seat, no pockets on back of front seats or behind rear back rest), and the interior design isn't so fancy, but the color scheme throughout (black and grayish) goes nicely and besides, i wasn't looking for something with "pretty chrome interior accents" anyway). You'll have to get the Big Horn Edition if you want more options, but I'm happy with what i have.. Even on a 90� day, AC is not a necessity - with windows down (even partially), wind flows through entire vehicle gracefully, even through floor and leg area so you can feel the wind blow through your leg hairs! Gas mileage from my average driving type has been a total of about 17 mpg.. You can personalize the vehicle settings right from the steering wheel, on down to how the doors unlock when you use the remote.. Nice height of ground straight from factory, nice and smooth take-off, backup camera, 4-wheel-drive (mmm hmmm ?), and if you're like me and like it kind of old-school, the gear shifter is on the steering column, and NOT an electric knob... I like it... I like it a lot, and i do recommend!

This truck has exceeded all of my expectations. It?s a Laramie 4x4 so it?s as nice inside as any other vehicle I?ve ever had and it?s capable of going to the beach or take me fishing off road. The hemi has plenty of power and torque and I love the 8 speed automatic. I haven?t found anything that I would change about it yet.

I previously owned a 2004 Dakota 4x4 3.7 V6 and this 2014 Ram 1500 Express is a huge upgrade for my business,I was more concerned with making sure I got the 5.7 Hemi with the 8spd trans and 6 1/2 ft. bed rather than getting all the bells and whistles since I will mainly be using this truck for my Seamless Gutter Business.I tow a 12ft trailer that has a gutter machine on it which weighs 1,000lbs without any gutter coil loaded and the Hemi pulls it no problem at all in fact it doesn?t even feel like I?m towing anything with the 390hp the Hemi produces.These newer Rams ride super smooth and the 8spd trans seems to shift great,every once in a while it has a little hiccup but it?s a very smooth trans overall!If I can keep this truck driving as good as it currently dose then I will definitely be in the market for another Ram at some point when I?m done with this one.The only issue I have so far is the cruise control cluster on the steering wheel is not working but this seems to be an issue with many of the Rams,I called my local dealer and it is only going to cost $145 the get it fixed so I?m not worried.Gas mileage is great for a V8 and the the suspension is also smooth in the rear without the leaf springs that companies like Ford use still.My Ram is a 2014 1500 with 27,000mi. hope this review helps

After test driving several brands of trucks, I felt the ram was the best choice hands down. I went with the crew cab because It has tons of room (can fit 5-6 adults comfortably). The ride is smooth and the truck turns on a dime. Loads of power, after all it IS a HEMI.

The truck has plenty of power! The ride is smoother than last generation for sure. I have a sport model which has a ton of options. Heated and cooled seats. Heated steering wheel. 4 wheel drive. The list goes on and on. Cab is extremely quiet for a truck.

Love everything about this truck, styling and power and handling. Just one ptoblem the infotainment needs to hav a factory recall to replace bad radios.

Awesome truck. My first Dodge have been wanting one for a while and finally pulled the trigger on a lightly used express 1500 quad cab. Price was right and I feel like it will hold ita value through the years and be reliable in my daily use for work. Inside is very comfortable and the technology is great but not over the top. Hemi power is impressive and the 8 speed transmission shifts very smoothly. No complaints so far. Mopar baby.

This RAM crew cab truck was just what I was looking for. Great highway mpg, smooth ride, very comfortable and plenty of power. More backseat room than some luxury vehicles I've been in! Love the looks inside and out. Can't wait to add the offroad accessories to personalize my vehicle.

This truck was perfect for me. I drove long distances for work, great on fuel. No problem hooking up the boat to go north either.

Pretty impressed with the comfort , never been a dodge fan but i am loving this truck more everytime i drive it, gets way better gas mileage then expected, 5.7 hemi
