2018 Subaru Crosstrek consumer reviews

After driving the Mazda CX-5 and the Honda CR-V the Subaru Crosstrek offered the best value for my money. It is solidly built, quiet, and the ride is smooth. It's just the right size with 55 cubic feet cargo storage when back seats are folded down. The Crosstrek has very comfortable seats and is loaded with technology, including adaptive cruise control and emergency braking with the new Eyesight system! On my first 300 mile trip, I averaged 29.5 mpg. If you're looking for a new compact crossover in this segment, put this one on your short list to test drive.

I've liked the Subaru brand of cars for a while now. At first I was looking at the Outbacks and then test drove a Crosstek and knew it was the car for me. I had a Toyota Rav4. The Crosstrek is a bit smaller and more sporty looking.

I am 76 years old and had MANY vehicles.... I would recommend Subaru to anyone who asked my opinion??...I will go to Heaven in a Subaru??

Like all of the safety features. Blind spot indicator, lane sway indicator and steering responsive headlights are great. Also, the backup camera and rear collision avoidance are great features.

I think the car's only short coming is that the power is only adequate but it is not suppose to be a performance car. It is solid and comfortable and the CVT performs well. It also handles well and has great brakes. The interior room is very good and the gas mileage is great for this type of car. Would definitely buy the car again and looking forward to the spring and nice weather for some road trips!

My first "luxury" car and truly enjoying it. Just need time to figure out all of the "bells and whistles" included in the vehicle. Interior is comfortable for 4 passengers.

Crosstrek is smaller than the Forester but does not feel like it. Lots of fun to drive and feels safe and solid.

I currently own my second crosstrek and am even happier with the 2018 version than the very first (2013) version. Some great improvements cosmetically inside and out have happened and the engine compartment has some super improvements as well. Some great standard customs for the electronic components and others available to add to enhance safety. The interior is larger which is definitepy noticeable and I'm excited to fill up every inch again on my road trips.

The Subaru Eye Sight saved my life the night I drove the car off the lot when a huge deer jumped out in front of me on a windy back road. The Eyes Sight system saw the deer in front of me and applied the breaks before I could even react. If I was still driving my Honda Civic I would have been severely injured if not worse! I would recommend the Subaru Crosstrek or any Subaru with Eye Sight capabilities!

I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT MY NEW CROSSTREK. Handles well, love to drive, love the interior leather and Apple play.
