Overall an Outstanding Buy
The car was used as part of a down size process in the size and number of vehicles I owned. A smaller vehicle than the Mazda CZ-9 (2019) that I owned and the number of vehicle down from three to two. The Subaru would have been my selection and purchase in 2019 except that the Outback did not have the power or the room of the CX-9. But after driving the Crosstrek, which is a 1,000 pounds lighter its performance is equal to or superior. Size now is just right.

Owned Subaru since 1995
This car meets my needs for economical travel and bad weather commutes. The power drive seat is a new, welcomed addition, as is the upgraded 2.5L Boxer. Great get up and go, fun to drive!

The car drives smooth with little road noise. Leather interior is very comfortable. Plenty of leg room and engine has plenty of power. So far so good

Happy to have this car
I got my new Crosstrek 2 weeks ago, absolutely love it! Comfortable driving and reliable safety system. I got the 2.0L engine, and I feel the power is enough since I'm not looking for a race car.

Love this car
I've only owned my Crosstrek Sport for 1 week. The first tank of gas netted me 31.4 MPG. This was short local trips for the most part, exceeding my expectations. I am 6'3" and find it ample in space and comfort. It's too soon to judge reliability, but this car has pleased me on every level up to now. I'm glad I purchased the Sport for the 2.5 motor. I don't think I would be as happy with 30 less Horse power.

This is a very comfy car, with lots of power, ample room and has a lot of technology to boot. We really love it a lot.

Sport Model
With the new 2.5 L engine and the Subaru Cross Trek Sport. It is an excellent car for acceleration for entering a highway. I totally recommend this vehicle to everyone that’s thinking about buying a 2.5 L Subaru Crosstrek

Different from the 2018
I upgraded from the 2018 Crosstrek Premium to the 2021 Crosstrek Premium. Overall is very similar as far as design and comfort. There are some differences that I like such as the added eyesight features (adaptive cruise control, lane assist, etc.), economy/sport modes and in general it feels spunkier. What I don’t like is the gas mileage is not as good. In town it is almost as good but on the highway I am getting 5 to 6 miles less per gallon based on the stats from the car. I was getting around 36 to 37 mpg on the highway at speeds up to 75 mph in my 2018 Crosstrek. I am getting closer to 31/32 at 65 mph in my 2021 Crosstrek. Not sure why this is exactly but it is a disappointment.

Snazzy and tough!
This is the second Crosstrek we've owned. We put the 2014 through incredible driving conditions all over the West - mud, dust, heat and long road trips on freeways. And all the while we reveled about how cute and snazzy it was. We decided to get a brand new one because they are even snazzier! We love the smart-driving options, especially the lane deviation beeper! This time we got the gun metal grey color which, we think, is more "grown up" looking!
