2017 Subaru Forester consumer reviews

My fifth Subaru. Bought my first in 1973. I've been a satisfied return customer several times. However, the intermittent lurching on slow acceleration, which has been evident since I purchased this 2017 Forester 17 months ago (current mileage approx 15,000 miles), is both annoying and dangerous. I am very disappointed in Subaru of America's failure to address this problem. Time to move on.

Love this car fits me perfectly feels so solid and handles so smooth! I should have bought one sooner!!! The electronic features are amazing! Just love this car!!!

I am a very small woman - 4'9" and was worried about fitting in the car. It's PERFECT!!! I feel safe driving in bad weather!

After much research this is the one for me! I have returned to Subaru after almost 15 years. and the Subaru Forster 2.5i touring has everything I was looking to get. I can't wait to get on the road again!

This car is the best car I've owned. I love the styling, comfort, and accessories it has. It has all of the advanced technology that I need for a great price! I have owned it for 1 1/2 years now and have not had any mechanical issues at all. I have only taken it in for it's regular maintenance.

Fantastic vehicle, I own the 2.5i with a 6-speed manual. Having the manual transmission allows me to access all that torque from the engine. The XT (2.0 turbo model) only comes with a CVT transmission which is zero fun to drive. Umfortunately, turning off the traction control only allows throttle freedom, the ABS still attempts to control the vehicle when a wheel starts to spin. Stock wheels and tires look a little tiny but it?s not too bad. But despite all that I love this car, it?s definately a classic Subaru. As an avid off road enthusiast, this car is snow, sand, & rain tested and approved.

Bought a Subaru Forester for my daughter. She absolutely loves everything about it!! I would definitely recommend this car.

I purchase this car 1 year ago. It has plenty of power and handles great. I would say the high points of the car are the handling, power, comfort, visibility. It does not have a temperature gauge for the engine which i do not like. It is not a quiet car-they could add some more noise insulating material(it does have alot of glass which is probably part of the problem). Overall i love driving this car and that is number one for me. You do not need more power than the 2.5 engine. I would buy this again in a minute(if i had the money).

I love this vehicle. I wanted a 4X4 vehicle I can take to work in the winter and something comfortable for me, my girlfriend and 2 big dogs. This Subaru does it all. I can have my dogs in the back with the seats folded down, my bikes on the hitch bike rack and my stuff in the roof trunk.

This car has consistently given me what I want and need in a car. I want comfort and reliability and I need safety. I have 2 new drivers in the family & need the safest car that I can afford. Along with the safety my Forester gives me, I enjoy comfort, technology and reliability that I want. Handles like a dream in the snow and on rough terrain.
