Hello, Because of the conditions of our roads in Westchester I was looking for a car that could keep up with the latest "pot holes". I have 2-pinched nerves in the center of my back so a car ride anywhere is a new degree of pain. The test ride was several left and rights, and over some bumpy roads.... even 2 potholes, and you know what? NO PAIN! The car is quite and comfortable, and the sound system plays like a dream. When the whole family (and dog) is in the car i dont feel im sitting on top of each other. This is a great long term car!!!!!!

I love this car. I upgraded to this 2017 model from a 2007 because it meets all of my needs. Plenty of headroom and footroom in both front and back, a fairly simple dashboard that isn't overly ornate, a ton of interior space to put gear, and a ground clearance of 8". I just took it up to a camp in the Carolinas that had a lot of rain, and it handled the mud and washout like a champ while also being a very smooth, quiet ride on the interstate on the way up there. It also handled the localized flooding here in Florida as if the pavement was dry. I'll be putting my kayak rack and bike rack on it soon!

This car is absolutely amazing! I have never felt so safe as well as comfortable. This is my first SUV and I wanted the best one out there. I found it! It's good on gas and has a lot of room but it isn't gigantic. I highly recommend it!

After driving the Pilot, Ridgeline, Highlander, Santa Fe, and several others, the Forester was by far the best value for my money. It is solidly built, quiet, and smooth. The ride is like a Lexus and it handles almost like a sedan. It's just the right size, has very comfortable seats and is loaded with technology! On my first 100 mile trip, I averaged 28.8 mpg. If you're looking for a newSUV in this segment, put this one on your short list to test drive and BUY

Why our country has virtually stopped manual transmission cars is beyond. The Forester is smooth shifting and a pleasure to drive.
