2009 Subaru Impreza consumer reviews

I owned a 2004 WRX, I traded it for a 2009 WRX. I have been driving for over 50 years, and this is the best car I have ever owned. 9 years old, and very few repairs beyond simple maintenance. plenty of power, great handling, and the resale value is hard to beat.

Love driving this car! I have had such a blast modding this car. So many options available for this model.

Very comfortable for a smaller car. Handles well. Adequate power for a 4 cylinder. Can count on getting many miles from a Subaru.

The standard transmission works well as does the engine performance in this fairly basic Impreza. It is a fairly comfortable ride and space enough for a driver height of 6' 2". Styling is what sold the car as did the AWD.

The ride, performance (for a 4 cyl), gas mileage and styling make for great overall value. This is a car you can easily run up 250k+ miles if desired.

It is super comfortable and very reliable. Sturdier than any other car I've driven. I have the 5 speed manual Impreza 2.5i hatchback and it has been the best car to commute with and to get better at driving manual with. I love it!!

Reliable car for winter time, thought it did pretty well in the snow. Good gas mileage. It handles well, has plenty of power, well placed controls, spacious and has very nice styling. At 85,000 no serious mechanical issues.

Most reliable bang for your buck car you can probably get. AWD, turbo, hatchback, and dependable. I had a blast daily driving this car everyday for over three years.

Car satisfied almost all of my needs, the WRX is a great car and amazing bang for your buck! The reliability and winter performance were a big plus as well.

Love it. Realizable, safe, and built to last. They have pep when you need it and four wheel drive works incredibly well in snow and hard rain.
