Subaru's are fantastic!

I love this car! Definitely the best car I've ever had. It never gets stuck in even a foot of snow, has great traction even on very icy roads and has a 5 star safety rating which is why I bought it when I was expecting my now 1 year old son! It isnt the most spacious, especially for a large carseat but it is comfortable even on long drives.

Best car I’ve ever had!

This is the best car I’ve ever owned. There was a bit of an adjustment to the car feel, when I first bought it, but it drives beautifully. People say it doesn’t have much power, that’s not true. I’ve driven smaller cars most of my life and this car has plenty of pep for the size. The only downside I have is that since it’s very low to the ground, you really feel speed bumps. If/when you ever drive over one, be sure to go slow. Best car I’ve ever had, fantastic feel, very safe, and overall wonderful vehicle!

Probably won’t be a repeat buyer

Engine, trans and the rest of the drivetrain are fine. Gas mileage is excellent. The rest of the car is bargain basement lowest bidder garbage.

This reliable girl takes me places

Very happy with the reliability. Extremely smooth ride. The CVT transmission is a bit "catchy" sometimes, But I think that's just a nature of the kind of transmission it is. Extremely happy that most of the instrument lighting is red (instead of blue), so that it doesn't irritate your eyes at night. The user interface of the center console needs to be modernized. The on-screen controls look nice, but not responsive enough. The screen controls appear to be built with fine motor skills in mind, but we actually use them with the gross motor skills of the upper arm. Once in a while that gets a bit inconvenient. Overall the Impreza is great.

It's good but not great

I first owned a 2013 impreza. I totaled it at 103,500 miles and bought a 2018 impreza with 7800 miles. You would think after 5 years Subaru would get their bluetooth connectivity issues fixed. But obviously not. I'm playing music in my car get out of my car with it still running, get back in my car put it in reverse and my phone randomly disconnects and will not reconnect until I restart the car. And heaven forbid you take your seat belt off a split second before you put it in park because it will beep like crazy even after it's in park! So stupid! I feel like my 2013 impreza was a little quicker as well. My 2013 had all the recall/lawsuit problems so hopefully the 2018 is better build quality . Other then those small problems it's been a great car and I like it.

Good Bank for your Buck

This car is an AWD car like all Subaru's and it also had phenomenal gas mileage. Recently went on its first long road trip and it got an average of 39 miles to the gallon. I have had other cars of it type and none of them feel as sturdy as this one. The only issue that I have with this car is sometimes the backup camera can have issues, but this is supposed to be fixed in an update.
