One of the best cars that I have ever owned

I chose the Premium 3.6r and have been very pleased. It's a 2012 model that I bought new and now have over 60k miles on it with no issues. Handling is firm and precise and the ride is on the firm side which I prefer. I believe interior room is about the best for this class of car especially the back seat which has ample comfortable leg room for even a tall adult. Trunk space is also very good. Performance is very good and the 256 hp boxer six provides strong acceleration and smooth effortless highway cruising at any speed you might choose. It really likes to go. I can't say enough about this car's all wheel drive system and overall control in wet, icy and snowy conditions which I have tested many times during my ownership. Mine has the all weather package with heated mirrors and wipers are a worthwhile option. Gas mileage isn't bad if you don't constantly have your foot in it. I have seen low thirties on the highway when driving long easy stretches at around the speed limit. Usually upper twenties when pushing it at higher speed and on hilly and mountainous terrain. Overall day to day city and suburban driving is around 24 mpg driving moderately. Overall a great production car and a lot of value for the dollar.

Great Car

Reliable and fun to drive. Very satisfied with my purchase. Aside from normal maintenance i have spent very little to repair. Would buy again hands down.

Most reliable car I've owned

With regular maintenance, the Subaru Legacy is as dependable a car I have ever owned. It is surprisingly roomy inside, and cargo space is very good for its class. The ride is smooth and quiet and it handles very well. The 2.5l 4cyl boxer engine provides adequate power and superior gas mileage. The AWD is sure-footed in the snow and inspires confidence in any condition. I would not hesitate to own another one.

I miss my Subaru

The overall drive of the car was fantastic. I have been wanting to get another one ever since my ex got the care in the divorce. Super reliable, good gas mileage, fun to drive. The Bluetooth was a bit wonky, took a while to get the hang of it, but the experience with the car was great.

Excellent car for essential employees

This car ensured my safety throughout PT school and my first years of working in the field. As an essential employee there is no working from home and severe weather is a mandatory day at work. A reliable car with all wheel drive is a must!

Gas mileage is great; performance is incredible.

This car has met all of my expectations of a Subaru. I test drove it and instantly fell in love. It's great on gas, and it drives perfect. When going over bumps, it's rare I even feel them, the car handles great.

Rust Issues

While the car mechanically has been sound, I've had to replace the oil pan ($550) and the exhaust system ($650) due to major rust issues. CVT transmission shifts too much and the air conditioning is too underpowered for this size car.

Great mid-size vehicle

This is a really great car. It has solid, steady performance and provides great gas mileage. I'd buy it again if I was looking for a sedan.
