The Second best car for EVERY job

-This car will keep up with Porsches on a track and outpace most coupes -This car will fit 4 of your friends for road trips -This car will haul ALL of your groceries; and a tent, and SCUBA gear for a weekend getaway -This car will get close to 30mpg if you drive it easy -This car will NOT get stuck in slow; but it needs snow ties All cars are a comprimise of some sort. For any given task, you can find a better car...but the WRX handles EVERYTHING with skill and aplomb. It's got less room and ground clearance than an SUV, gets worse mileage than a hybrid, isn't as comfy as a Lexus and isn't as fast as a Corvette (usually). But name another car that can hang with all of the above mentioned and not feel like a total compromise.

A really sweet, sweet car..

Sporty, sleek and comfortable; 6 speed stick shift is real nice and smooth with a deep, throaty Sound. Excellent high end Harmon Kardon Premium Sound System

Fun car

I owned a 15? wrx for 3 years and had a blast with it. The all wheel drive, and sporty ness of the car was great... I am a corn fed boy so I am slightly larger and it was just not that comfortable with my daily commute which averaged 3 hours a day. MPG was 23. Small aftermarket items help the car a lot. Perrin Shift stop, Perrin brash bushing for shifting arm cold air (carb approved) and a Cobb access port by coil overs strut tower bars and a nice set of 18?s? did the car justice. I traded it in for a more comfortable ride that?s the only reason, otherwise I would still have it.

Great daily commuter

Appreciate the redesign for the 2015 year and enjoy the car overall. It's a fantastic daily commuter that provides the basic comforts of modern cars, while getting you from A to B relatively faster than your fellow commuters. It's agile and versatile in all weather, giving me the confidence to brave whatever odd weather conditions I encounter. The AWD system is one of the best in the industry. Every mechanic I encounter says these cars last forever regardless of what you throw at it and it seems to be holding up pretty well for the last 3 years I've had it. Great features--it has 8 cup holders. I will use about 4-5 just for myself (yes, i know) so Subie added more for me in mind. For a sport sedan, the rear legroom is pretty spacious--ive had two over 6" guys fit in the back no problem. Trunk space is impressive. You can customize this car so many different ways. I've never seen two alike WRX's/STI's. Recommendations to Subaru: improve the cheap plastics and main screen. I feel like I'm in the 80's version of Tron sometimes---this is your car with a cult-following, impress us! Recommendations to new owners: (1)if you can't do the oil change yourself, make sure you take the car to a reputable shop or directly to a Subaru dealer. Subaru's are notoriously sensitive--once had a mechanic overfill the oil tank and put a slightly off brand filter on the WRX and it FREAKED OUT. Within a day the car's dash lights were screaming and flashing like it was about to explode. My cruise control and drive mode options were disabled, and the car wanted to turn itself off if I went up a steep hill. Just take it to the dealer--they charge about the same as most the other shops I've tried. (2) Don't skimp on tires and get those regular alignments. I do drive more than the typical commuter; but these cars are hard on tires.

The car for the car enthusiast!

The Subaru WRX is a drivers car. Meaning that it doesn't have all the newest or fanciest of toys but it is sure fun to drive. It revs like nobody's business and puts a big smile on your face when you drive the six speed manual. The interior and seats do not have all the latest and best toys that some of the other luxury sedans have but if you purchased this car then you probably did not buy it for comfort.

Most fun I?ve had while driving

Go anywhere as long as you don?t mind to flex a track made suspension while doing it! If you get a ticket make it count

Best sport car for the Midwest!

If you are looking for a fun sporty car that you can drive year round, the WRX is for you. The direct injected twin scroll turbo boxer motor is quick, and very reliable. The two things I added to this year was a touch screen head unit and bigger 18? wheels and tires. The year after I bought my 2015 WRX subaru added these options as standard on the Premium and limited trims.

Best functional performance car I've owned!

I've always wanted more of a performance based car, but didn't want to lose functional ability in day to day use. This car meets those needs. Full trunk, 4 door, 5 seats...etc. And it drives amazing on the road. It's a fun car that you can tinker with if you want and as well as take on road trips with full luggage and passengers!
