Nicest Car I've Ever Driven.

I bought my SX4 Sport(Auto Transmission) on March 23, 2007, and have had the best time with it since! After having driven "Gas Hogs" all these years the fact that my "break-In" milage is only 18 to 20 miles to the gallon, is not something I'm overly concerned about and is still a heck of alot better then what I've been getting in the past. Suffice to say, I'm having fun! The Car's quick, great to look at, comfortable, and has an interior much larger then would be expected. The perks are great too: cruise, AM/FM, 6 Disc CD controls on the steering wheel, fog lights, and Red/Hot Pink dash lights. Not to mention 9 speakers, AWD, and keyless entry. ( And I bought the car for the headroom, and AWD of all things!) Because I was asked to comment on "Reliability" and because only time will tell, I can only say one thing: Since I bought my car we've gone from Spring back to Winter and during those snowy crazy days, it's warmed up beautifully, is really easy to clean off and holds the roads nicely. With all these great things, there has to be a downside of course and I noticed it straight away: On a left tight curve of road, there's a bad blind spot on the left part of the windshield: The metal partition separating the main windshield from the smaller side triangle windshield hides on coming traffic on the turn: You have to bend forward to see around it. Since this is a new model this year - That's something Suzuki's going to have to work on. Altogether, though this car is amazingly fun to drive and own. Thanks Suzuki !!

I love my Little "Pearlie"

This car is awesome. I am so happy with my SX4. Suzuki did a fantastic job on this sporty, fun, and "little hercules" vehicle! :)

Excellent Car for the Money

Looks good and handles well for a smaller car. AWD works well on slick roads. Gas Mileage so far is fair to good (averaged 29 mpg Highway on one trip and overall averaged 23-24 mpg with a 70 / 30 split between city and highway driving). Very well equipped for the price but some options should be included standard: cruise control center arm rest real cargo mats

very satisfied owner

The sx4 is my first japanese owned vehicle, always owned american before. This car is definitely alot of car for the value on top of having awd.True the gas mileage could be a little better, considering it is awd it should come as no surprise.I love the cars int and ext looks,a real eye catcher. The handling is better than expected, and I absolutely love the awd feature. The awd was put to the test recently after a big snowfall. I was leaving work, most eveyone of my coworkers had shovels and were spinning the tires.I put it on awd and went out no problem at all. All in all I am really satisfied with the sx4,most definitely recommend this car.

SX4 in New Jersey

I Loved this car from the moment I saw it at the mall. I've never driven a Suzuki before so I wasn't sure if I was going to like it, but when we went to the dealership I just fell in love. This car is awesome. I love it. Not only is it stylish, it's spunky too!

Nice Car!

I have owned the Sports Model with Auto for one week now. I like everything about this car...except for the gas mileage which I hope improves with time. I live in a very cold area and that is not helping things either as I have to let the car warm up for a while and this consumes alot of gas. The features offered are very good for the money, and I feel that this vehicle has alot of super safety features as well which make it an unusual buy. I say: "Get one!"

Great value and it's fun to drive.

I also have the base model with the 5spd and I have to say it's alot of fun to drive. The AWD works great in the snow and the 5spd really helps the car move out. It does seem a little thirsty in the gas department, but seems to average around 22mpg. For the price you can't go wrong its fun to drive, has AWD, and looks great to. The only thing I don't like about my SX4 is the window switches feel cheap.

Little Sport Ute

I have the base model with the 5 speed. It is an odd little duck. The unique transmission and the price was the reason I bought it. Living in Minnesota gives you an appreciation for AWD and 4WD. I note that there are flaws to the presentation. The effort needed for the accelerator pedal and the brake are much too light. The brakes grab hard the first time I drive the Suzuki after driving my pickup. The foot pedal for gas is so lightweight that I have trouble maintaining an even speed. Note I wear size 14 shoes and am 6'6" tall, exceeding 250 pounds. Also note that I fit into this car! When the rear seats are folded up and tumbled forward there is lots of room for my two dogs. Who cannot climb into the front seat because of the tumbled rear seats. That is good. I did not get cruise and there seems no way to get it. Suzuki could not assist and there are not aftermarket kits yet. Because of the lightweight foot pedals I think cruise is very desirable in this car. I need one more gear! The engine is reving too high at highway speeds, and this affects the gas milage. I can get 30 at 55 but this drops to 24 at 70.

Pretty nice car for the money

I have the Sport model. This car is near perfect with all the features it has. It has a very quiet ride, pretty peppy, and is pretty quiet at speed. I do wish it got better gas mileage. I get about 27-28 all around with the automatic. I have owned two German cars a VW and a Mercedes. While nice, both have let me down, with all kinds of reliability problems. I was going for a Toyota prius, untill I drove the SX4. Let's see what Suzuki can do.
