Comfort (I'm 6'4") and Economy (fuel)

I was in a sales role, traveling 90%, so I purchased this Avalon Limited pre-owned. I liked the exterior styling enough, although I did not care for the interior styling, thinking it was too outdated and unattractive, and it also did not help that it was dark grey exterior with a grey interior ... EVERYTHING was grey (why even make that combination), but I had little choice in deciding color theme. I got as high as 38 mpg according to the onboard computer, which - if accurate - is VERY impressive because it is a 3.5l 6 cylinder engine with plenty of go power. It is in no way a high performance car, but reliable enough for me to travel hundreds and hundreds of miles without concern or worry of breakdown. A good value for your money because these are typically priced LESS than a similarly equipped Camry when purchased pre-owned. I think folks prefer the Camry, so it was tough for me to sell it, as compared to when I sold a Camry I had years back and EVERYONE wanted it. Overall a good car at a good value. I thought it was so bland, that when I finally changed jobs, I traded it in with haste for a Hummer H3! ... so I was desperate to get out of it, only because it was a soulless car with no excitement.

Terrific car

Best car I ever owned. Very comfortable and roomy. Hugh Trunk. Great power. Backed by Toyota reliability. I got tired of the minivan/suv scene and wanted a family sized sedan, I found this and could be happier.

Best 12 yr old car to drive

You can't go wrong buying an older Toyota Avalon. This 2006 has only 109800 miles, this is just broke in for a Toyota. Smooth and quite.

A lot of car.

Recently drove from Colorado Springs to Omaha and got 27 mpg doing 85 most of the time. Shift points are odd accelerating but after 3rd gear this vehicle just floats. Mine has 127k on it and drives like a dream. Nice interior and very roomy.

Good for long leg people.

So far I love it. My brother and sister -in-law have had Avalons for several years and have had very positive experience with them.
