I was thrilled to own the 03 XLS, but the 11 Avalon takes the cake An entirely new product this year with more bells an whistles. Fortunately, it comes with several manuals to help you operate. The extra 400 lbs of weight helps to insure your comfort on the open road without killing you at the gas pump.

Best car in its class
The 2011 Avalon Limited is simply put a gem in the touring class of autos. This car rides like a feather out on the open highway and is very quite and easy to drive. I test drove both the lexus 350 and 460 models and neither oftered a better ride than the Avalon. In fact if you buy the Lexus 350 you are throwing your money away in comparison to the features and over all performance the two cars offer. The car lacks a little tight road handling if you want to drive 60 plus mph down a old country road. If you are in the market for a big roomy luxury sedan that is quiet, smooth and comfortable to drive than you must test drive the 2011 Avalon. Believe me you will not be disappointed especially in the pocket book after saving a ton of dollars as compared to comparable cars.

Wonderful Toyota Avalon
My 2011 Toyota Avalon Limited is wonderful. We traded our 2003 Avalon XLS and are extremely pleased by all the features they have added. It is what I expect a Lexus would ride and drive like. Immediately took it on a 2500 mile drive just after getting it and have no problems or reasons for changes.

great car
I think the 2011 Avalon is a great car for the money. However, the glare on the windshield, from the dash, is about to drive me crazy. Any suggestions how to correct this short of tinting the windshield? Other than this one thing I love the car. This is my 5th Avalon and I will continue to purchase them as long as Toyota keeps up on the quality end.

Best value for the money
Bought a Limited & couldn't be happier. Fabulous acceleration & ride. Incredible gas mileage, too. Looked at Infinity, Maxima & Lexus, they simply can not compare! Great restyled front & back ends and dashboard, too. In my eyes the Avalon has a lot of Lexus in it (sister car). You really need to drive one to believe just how great this car is.

I didn't think it could get better!
I bought a Limited about a month ago. Had my eye on it ever since the '05 model. I was looking to buy an '09 or '10 model used. After doing some research I found that a new '10 model had $3000 cash back. Couldn't find one that I wanted. A local dealer suggested I drive the new '11 as they had been restyled. I was happily surprised! Loved it! Restyled front end, rear end & dashboard. Plus folding sideview mirrors (finally!) & several other optionals are now standard. The dealer was great. He started out at the invoice figure & we went from there. I was elated. I suppose Toyota is giving their dealers nice incentives to sell the Avalons at prices so much under MSRP, no doubt because of their PR problems. The 3.5 V6 has as much power as a lot of V8s, plus it gets great mileage. I've averaged 26-29 MPG doing combination driving. If you're looking at Infinity or Lexus, do yourself a favor & drive the Avalon. It is the sister car to the Lexus but much more car for the money! Toyota should sell a lot of them.

The Best a Man Can Get
This car is amazing! It has more then the base Lexus ES. I do recommend the heated/cooled seats, rear sunshade, and tint for the base and the limited has all of that standard. You HAVE to have the 12-speaker JBL Synthesis system, too. I really just love mine. It is such an upgrade from our 2007 Nissan Maxima. The engine is very quick and the ride is really pillowy instead of bouncy. Get one while they're hot!
