Limited version has it all

I have an Avalon limited. I am very satisfied with the vehicle. It is comfortable, powerful and has more options than I can count.

New model

With a few things missing from the older style the newer model brings an up to date style. More technology more safety.

Great car

My only complaint with this car is the front doors. They are very big and heavy. Hard to keep open and hard to reach to close

Not my mom's Avalon!!!!!

We have been a Toyota family for years for reliability performance and resale value. My mother has owned numerous avalons over the years , all flawless. However they seemed to be styled for older customers...when we are looking on the lot at camrys we saw this avalon and 1st didn't know what it was. ..Totally redesigned style!!! But still avalon durability comfort etc...Thank you Toyota! !!!

LOVE THE HYBRID!!

The 2013 Avalon is my second Hybrid. I had a 2007 Camry Hybrid before it. I never plan to own another car that isn't a hybrid. I love getting 40mpg. I do hate the black interior . I had the seatback problem that others are talking about. Fortunately, I had a recall for the sensors and they replaced the seatbacks. My #1 complaint about the vehicle is the design of the dash. WHO IN THE WORLD THOUGHT TO PUT SILVER MOLDING AROUND THE DASH, AROUND THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AND THE A/C VENTS??? It is blinding when the sun hits it. It is literally like shining a flashlight in your eyes while driving. VERY DANGEROUS! It has become such a problem that I now carry a black towel to try to cover up the area when it's that time of day.

14 hour trip exceeds expectations!

This is my 4th Avalon. i drove from North Carolina to Syracuse, NY. Of course, after the drive I was mentally tired, but I loved the drive. The cruise control worked like a champ, I averaged 29 mpg., and the car performed well during a few downpours of rain. The Avalon was roomy enough, and the engine was very responsive when I had to call on it to get up and go. We loved the Sirius Radio, and the usb memory stick for our entertainment. I'm very happy with my car, and it only has 21k on it. I highly recommend this car to anyone searching for a great all around car.

Somewhat Disappointed :(

I have to say I've been a Toyota enthusiast for a long time, the Avalon to be precise. Back in 2008, I drove a 2002 Avalon and fell in love immediately. I ended up buying the car and drove it for the next 5 years!!! I loved everything about it. Gas mileage was great, I averaged 25 mpg city and 32 mpg hgwy. Unfortunately, I got in a car wreck that totaled the car *sob *sob!! I got a Civic which I drove for 2 yrs and hated. Needless t say, I decided to go back to the Avalon. I just got the 2013 Avalon Touring Hybrid with 25k miles. I've had this vehicle for a week and I can already tell my 2000 Avalon was more comfortable. The seats are too hard and the ride is NOT as smooth as the older Avalon. C'mmon Toyota!!!!! Don't get me wrong, I love all the safety features that come with the newer Avalon but I feel like my older Avalon was smoother, quieter and far superior. Maybe with time my opinion might change, only time will tell. I've had the car for only 1 week. I will report back if that happens.

it's not the Avalon of old

This not the Avalon your father drove. It's more like the BMW I traded in to purchase this vehicle. There is more road feel but it's also more responsive than my old Beemer. The cockpit is very well laid out and just 'makes sense' and is easy to navigate. Toyota did a good job. It's also wickedly fast, especially in the 60 to 75 mph range and for Phoenix highways a necessity. Great car, proud I own it.
