2015 Toyota Avalon consumer reviews

No complaints except one....it is lower to the ground than most comparables. Love the leather work and it's comfort. Everything works as it should. Plenty of back seat and trunk room. Slick to look at. It's a Honey.

I have owned far too many cars and trucks in my life, how ever this Toyota is far superior to any vehicle that I have ever owned. The quality, performance, and reliability is there.

Looks good, runs great, lots of bells and whistles to play with. Been taking the long way home from work.

Only thing I don't like is how low the front "bumper" is. Have to watch for high curbs ect. Can't report on reliability, but I'm confident it will be first class just as other Toyotas I've owned.

I've written at least two other reviews on this car, but because they aren't five star it never gets posted, so let's hope this one does. This car is hyped as the perfect combination - the flagship model that is top of the line. This car is little more than overpriced and well designed but nothing great. First, you would think Toyota would know how to fix terrible rattles throughout the car, but I'm told that's standard and not a big deal. The entertainment system occasionally reboots itself for no reason and loses settings. I was told that until it is consistent it will not be fixed. Next up, it hesitates on starting but occurs randomly. The manufacturer tried to blame me, saying I held the start button too long. Another issue with the car is that the seating is not comfortable and the road noise is way too pronounced for a supposed top of the line car. If you're looking at this car, read beyond the glowing reviews and look up some of the common complaints from drivers. You'll see a persistent pattern and the manufacturer will not address or support users with their problems. This car is one of the biggest purchasing regrets I have ever made.

Previously owned a 1999 and 2005 model Avalon. Was happy with my 2005 model but my kids wanted me to have something with more safety features. They were right! Love the blind spot mirrors and back-up camera. Even use the GPS. Beautiful exterior and cabin. My only complaint is storage in the cabin. The center console is not as roomy and efficient as in my 2005 and I really miss the expandable bins in the front doors. Since I am 90 years old this will probably be my last car but I can assure you my great grandchildren will be vying for ownership.

I was in the market for a new car and ended up renting a 2015 Avalon on a business trip. Immediately knew that we the new car for me. I bought the XLE Premium one the day after I got back. The 2015 Avalon has beautiful lines, is very comfortable(a firm comfortable ride...not a cushy soft ride), has an impressive array of electronics, and a great price! If you are looking for a great car that looks and feels like a high end luxury car, but don't need the high end "badge" or price tag you should consider the Avalon.
