Unbelievably reliable
I bought this car used (6 cyl) with about 40,000 miles on it and now have 162,000 miles. In all that time, the only repairs I ever had to do was a leaking valve cover gasket and a leaking main rear seal. Only other costs were routine maintenance. This car is incredibly well-made and if you take good care of it with regular maintenance, it will go practically forever. I can't imagine why this car won't go over 200K easily. Also, I live in Minnesota and this car is great in the snow--have never been stuck. Good ground clearance and the front wheel drive has gotten me out of trouble numerous times.

Best car I have owned
The dealer was very nice and easy to work with. Was able to test drive and have the car checked over. The car is fully loaded and awesome to drive. It is very comfortable and roomy for anyone. I am a taller person and fit easily in this car. So far it has been a good car and would recommend it to anyone that wants to buy a toyota camry.

Happy Owner
Have owned a 2001 Toyota Camry XLE for 7 years and, so far, put almost 150,000 miles on it. When you take care of a Toyota, it takes care of you. It is the most reliable car I've ever owned. Gets good gas mileage and just keeps running.

Low mileage HIGH repair bill.
Bought this car used, maintained fluids and filters and drove it with no problems for four years. Took it to the dealer in response to a check engine light and discovered that everything from the water pump to timing belts, to valve's, to hoses, to the thermostat, to the charcoal cansister and system needed to be replaced. I am now $3k poorer and driving a car that sounds like a clumker even though it only has 64k miles on it -- all of them in sunny California.

The best car I ever had.
This is the best most reliable car ever and has an average speed of 140 MPH. But it has awesome handling and fuel economy! And I would rate it 10 out of 10!

Scary Blind Spots
I purchased a Camry, wanting a vehicle with good trunk space and leg room. However, after owning this vehicle for two years, I've found it a big disappointment. The trunk has bulges in weird places, and a minimal back-to-front width at the trunk entry for getting large items to fit--so, even if the trunk capacity was sufficient, the angle made it impossible; the rear doors do not open fully, so although there's room on the inside, getting items INTO the vehicle has proven impossible. I bought plastic patio chairs and promptly had to return them because I couldn't even get them into my vehicle (these were not big chairs!) Leg-room is "ok" for tall family members, but for those with arthritic limbs, the seats are TOO LOW. The lack of visibility in this vehicle SCARES me. I am very consciencious about checking blind spots before proceeding, but I've almost CLOBBERED people and cars MANY TIMES because the front driver's side window panes are very wide. With a huge gas tank, the mileage isn't as great as they claim it to be. For the same price and mileage, I wish I'd bought a RAV4 instead. Too late.

2001 Toyota Camry CE
I am a 21 year old college student currently and I had purchased this car new when in High School. I have never had any problems with it. I have added a few features to the car like an alarm system and new 17inch wheels among other things. In doing so I love driving my car and I hate to give it up... but I need a SUV for school and moving around that is the only reason I am selling it. I would defiantly buy one again and I am now very loyal to the Toyota name.
