WOW
I have owned 2 now working on number 3 of these cars!!! Nothing but oil changes for all of them my first one was a 1994 Camry bought it w 131.000 miles at 4500.00 best money I ever spent on a reliable car. She ran and ran until I totaled it she made it to 198.000 and still ran like a champ>>I'd still have it if the lady wouldn't have pulled out in front of me, my daughter was in the car at the time and she didn't get hurt at all thank goodness, me either besides the airbag, thanks to that car!! Now I have a 2001 shes a good one two but I wanted the 02 and up model and now i have the money so I'm going for it and I have no doubt in my mind that it will do the job and never let me down!!! The only thing I have ever had to replace on the 94 was timing belt and water pump in 5 yrs and my 01 nothing at all so far!!! Cant wait to get into the newer one!!!! I have a little 7 yr old and I don't have the time or the money to keep dumping into a car and be broke down somewhere, so trust when I say trust in the Camry!!!!

Reliability and comfort
The 2003 Camry XLE marries comfort and style with Toyota's reliability. Regular maintenance ensures that this vehicle will keep going in style for hundreds of thousands of miles. Interior features that are great for this model year include heated seats, 6 way adjustable seats, CD and cassette, cruise control, daytime running lights, large trunk with split/fold rear seating and the best feature: pleanty of storage options. The exterior has updated body styling with an available spoiler. Creature features that came with later models: lumbar support, heated seats that are adjustable (high heat or low heat, back and/or seat), dual climate control and day time running lights with automatic dashboard illumination at night. This is a great model year that with proper care will bring years of driving pleasure :)

2003 Camry LE, best car I've owned
My Camry is nearing the 200,000 mile mark and it shows no signs of slowing down. I've only had to replace a couple of wheel bearings that started to buzz around 150k (nothing too major, did the rear one myself). I also had a flashing AC light, but that ended up being a $10 relay. I average 27mpg overall, and even averaged 32mpg on a cross-country trip with the family and gear. Love the timing chain on this model, doesn't require replacement like the belts. I couldn't ask for a better car!

2003 Great Car!!
Not only was 2003 a great year, this is a great car. This Camry was produced after Toyota redesigned their 6 cyl engine so as not to produce sludge. At almost 96,000 miles, 5,000 miles into an oil change, the oil in this car was so clear you had to take dipstick into the sun to show oil level.... which was on the full mark. I loved this car and in 8 years, only required a new starter. Would still have it except it was our only car and felt we needed to trade before 100,000 miles. I believe she has a lot of life left in her and I only hope our 2011 Camry XLE will be as good.

This is my 3rd Camry
All of my Camry's including my 2003 which I bought brand new have been reliable and trouble free. I have been so spoiled. Toyota builds a great product. I put over 90,000 miles on my first Camry before reluctantly trading it for a new 2nd Camry (1995 model).

Excellent car
This was bought new in 2003 and now has logged 109,000 mostly trouble free and extremely reliable miles on it. There have been a few maintenance hiccups, but nothing major. Brake rotors needed resurfacing, but I think this was more due to the way my wife drives the car (brake rider). Also the intake manifold needed to be replaced, but we were able to talk Toyota into replacing it for free. The faulty manifold did not cause a performance issue, but made the car sound like it was purring. Outside of this the cost of maintenance on the Camry has been really low and the car has been in near perfect working order throughout. It is without a doubt the most reliable car I have owned to date. Performance (157hp I-4) isn't going to knock your socks off, the car tends to give a somewhat delayed response to flooring it, but acceleration is more than sufficient for highway traffic and the ability to aggressively merge on on-ramps. Handling is quite nice as well. Ride comfort is particularly good....this car has a nice suspension and provides a very smooth ride. Mileage is quite good and if you aren't always flooring it and braking, you can get great mileage out of this car.

Worst Camry I've owned
Bought a 2003 Camry LE with 80k miles on it. When I got it home there was a puff of blue smoke at startup. 3700 miles later transmission blew on highway. Never thought I had to research car as my other 1999 Camry had 97k on it with no problems. Checked out internet and see this is a common problem for this year at the 80k mark. Notified Toyota they blew me off saying I was beyond the warranty period.
