2007 Toyota Camry consumer reviews

I purchased the car new in August, 2006 and from day 1 I was in love with the car. The reviews were great and the car never let me down. Most of the mileage was commuting back and forth to work in Maine. It was a champ in the snow and had more than enough power and stability for higher speeds on Florida highways. Other than the typical maintenance issues there were issues with the valve cover gasket which I thought was the reason for some oil loss. Sadly around 150k that my oil level indicator was coming on before my next oil change date. I had it checked and even the dealership couldn't track any leaks with a dye. The oil consumption was increasing and I had to check and top off the oil nearly as frequently as filling the gas tank! It didn't take long after that for the catalytic converter to fail $$$$ at 175k . As long as I kept up with the daily maintenance the car continued to perform very well until 205k when a series of events caused the head gasket to fail. Now I've been told due to the engine design repairing the head gasket may not be an option...something to do with the head-bolts threading so far down into the block. Replacing the engine seams to be a better option...but avoiding the '07 engine. I would love to get another and I would recommend it with reservations and warnings on the '07.

I love my Camry! This car has been good to me. Very dependable and the ride is smooth. Regular scheduled services and oil changes has been my only expense. My next car will be a Camry too.

I like the size of the car, good for beginners. It didn't accelerated much on the uphill even when I fully stepped on it. Not much to complain about this car. My dad had it since 2007 and still works fine.

I love the drive of the vechile. I wish it had a little more space in the back for my children but other than that great car. Maintaining it isn't hard at all

Smooth ride roomy back seats. Great car to travel in. The Camry is easy to get children in and out of car seats. I would totally recommend it to anyone. It is great on gas for trips and going back and forth to work. I do travel to work for 40 minutes and back the same. Love the Camry and would love others to love it as much as I dthnks debbie

Gas mileage is pretty good, the engine is easy to work on. Alternator went out but easy and cheap to replace. Cruise control is a little weird, but the car is comfortable and convenient to drive. Paint and dash board aren't holding up very well. But this car is built to last good safe car for family too.

I have owned one other Toyota Supra, they are the most reliable cars, they have good durability, ride well and run well

I feel more safe than I ever have in a car. I know it's reliable and this car is spacious AND good on gas!
