It's a Toyota

I bought this Camry because of Toyota's reputation for reliability. I hope to drive if forever. The Camry's styling is not spectacular, but the performance is very good for a 4 cyl. engine. The interior and comfort is better than the Accord and Fusion, and I got a great deal on it as well. I'm very happy with it--it does exactly what I wanted in a car.

Solid feel, peppy I-4, great gas mileage

I am very satisfied with my Camry, drives great and gets excellent gas mileage (overall is 33.3 mpg, 75% hwy and 25% city). The car feels solid, has some great creature comforts, the sport leatherette is excellent (great leatherette option for Texas!) and speaking of Texas, the A/C blows very cold- the best IMO for a four banger. Four average adults fit very comfortably in this car and no complaints from back seat passengers about fatigue from leg room- plenty of back leg room. Overall very happy with this purchase and I actually look forward to driving it.

Great MPG Good Looks Nice Price

I had big V-8 SUV. Looked at small SUV's but nothing fit me as I am very tall. I read article about overall reliability of the Camry over the years. Local dealer had Zero Inception Lease offer, so I jumped into a 2014 Camry base "Gas Saver" model. First month with 1,200 miles got 30 MPG on mixed roads. We have freeways, but some steep grades, so I really like the 6 Speed Auto stick along with Econo mode. I-4 motor keeps up with all demands without loud buzzing, and purrs quiet in Econo mode on freeway or level roads. Complaints: rattling in the dashboard and rear speaker shelf at times. Trunk lid is flimsy, guess so it pops open easy with remote? Rear View Mirror has blurry spots, really noticeable at night. Rear seat not for tall people! Nice stuff: Bluetooth, Rear Camera, Frosty A/C. Handles great on twisty road I take to work, easy to park anywhere, deep trunk area. I would have bought Mazda 6, but the Toyota lease was too sweet of a deal, now I am happy Camry driver, probably buy it after 36 months, be happy owner.

TOYOTA CAMRY...excellent value for the $$$

I wanted to trade my 2010 TOYO Camry for a 2014 veh. I went to Lexus first to test their 250 & 350 AWD cars. I had a veh with AWD & thought I might like that again. Then I went to TOYOTA and truthfully the ride was not better in the Lexus. For $15 to 20K more it simply was not worth it because the Camry is a sweet , cushy ride & the details on the vehicle are terrific. The only think I miss is heated seats. Otherwise the XLE model had everything I could want in a car.

Keep on buying them

I always have liked the Camry-from 88 till now--The only things I don't like about the new ones-is they went smaller on the gas tank from 18-1/2 to 17-and the other thing is I change my own oil and I don't like the element filter system--you have to use a special wrench instead of buying a can type you have to take the plastic one apart and put the element in instead of twisting off the can type and replacing it-But they get good gas millage and are reliable..if I were a millionaire I would still drive one.American Toyota Alb. N.M. is the best at what they do.....

Time will tell.

I like to buy new and then keep my cars for a minimum of twelve years. Based on a previous Camry I owned, I hope to do the same with this model. I've owned it for less than a month. So far it is a good car, but it is too soon to tell if I will love the V4 as I used to love my V6's.

bad performance

Recently purchased, 2014 SE V6 camry, only 5 weeks old, I didn't notice the problem until i was on the freeway going about 65+ the first day i bought it, car will not come back to center when turning left or right, i can let go of the steering wheel and it will continue to turn. feels like im driving on a rainy/windy day, very flimsy. i would have to constantly correct the car to go straight, brought it in to toyota dealer four times now, had 2 alignments done, still no help, all they keep telling me is, "thats how the cars designed". so you are telling me a car that does not return to center is normal?? I've seen many complaints about this problem online, shouldn't there be a recall?? very very bad performance, i will not let my mother drive this car anymore because of the safety issues, very dangerous car to drive on the freeway.

Great Ride and Sporty Design!

I have always owned Honda Accords, but the price and styling of the 2014.5 SE looks so much more sportier than the Accord, plus the interior has a more updated look than Accord. The sporty feel of the SE makes it a fun car to drive. If your on a budget and you want the feel and drive of a Lexus , get the Camry SE and save some money.
