2018 Toyota Camry consumer reviews

The manner in which the continuous variable transmission is programmed causes the car to hesitate, sometimes a lot, and other times not at all.After visiting various owners forums, I’ve discovered that this is a very common complaint about this vehicle. The degree to which this hesitation can occur when pulling out onto a busy street or when needing to maneuver in traffic can make this car dangerous to drive.

Good mileage, lots of pep, good visibility, everything works and, good tires, comfortable. I’m very pleased with this car and it suits my needs in retirement.

Very impressed with the 2018 Toyota Camry XSE! Quiet and solid ride, beautiful styling. The amenities are nice , dual power seats & heated. GREAT fuel economy. Quality of interior materials seems good. Very impressed by how much the ride has improved with TNGA platform. Solid and confident feeling!

Very spacious sports edition sedan. This 2018 SE Toyota Camry model has the aggressive look of a sports car but has the reliability and comfort that is know to come along with Toyota. Under 25k mileage, practically new.

I like this car. Smooth ride and comfortable. Good gas mileage, but a little clunky. Doors don’t close tightly. Same with the trunk. Due to that, the car makes interior noise while stock g that is louder than I hoped. The car is great in so many ways, I wish more one was spent with the interior.

I love my Camry except I encounter an issue with my wheels. Black paint that is powder coat is peeling! Before I took it back to dealership and I did talk to the service manager for the dealership and I sent him photos of the paint chips that was from my back 2 wheels. The 1st explanation he gave me was that “it looks like it chipped off because of the gravel,” and I was like, really! I told him that his explanation was u acceptable because I do not live on a gravel road nor do I drive on gravel road nor do I know of anyone who has a gravel road! The dealership was a joke! I live about 1 hr and 15 minutes from Uebehlor & Son in Jasper, IN. That is the reason why I sent the photos to the dealership and made an appointment to dropped my vehicle off. They kept my vehicle the next morning, called me at noon and told me the paint on my back left wheel is bad because when he touched the paint, it chipped off. They are only replacing the back left wheel. I was like, all 4 wheels had paint chipping off of it, wouldn’t this be an issue because it already is proven that 1 wheel is bad, it’s a matter of time before the other 3 is bad too? I work at the Toyota in Princeton and quality is #2 and #1 is SAFETY! Needless to say, I will contact Toyota customer service in regards to this issue and claim that has been documented.

Plenty if leg room, classy, smooth ride. Great gas mileage, beautiful color. Have always owned small cars, I have wanted this car for long time.love it.

Bought two Toyota’s great cars! I would recommend friends and family to buy Toyota vehicles. They are great on gas and drive great and very dependable.

I've owned 3 other Camrys previously, all great cars, but this one was a dog, primarily because of very poor pickup. It has an electronic accelerator, very annoying, uneven acceleration. Brought it in to dealership twice, said it is normal. What this car needs is a TURBO!

The car has exceeded my expectation. It's a great and fun car to drive. I compliments allthe time on the style. I enjoy the 301 horsepower.
