Very quiet and a joy to drive.

The Toyota Hybrid is a very economical and quiet driving family car or just perfect for anyone who is looking to save some cash on gas. Looking forward to driving mine for a long time. The leather seats are very comfortable and the metal detail on the interior is classy. Plenty of space in this car.

Very good car for economy minded

Great car and reliable, but if you want a car with heated seats, lighted vanity mirrors, premium sound, and all the extra gizmos, this may not be the car for you?

A truly superior vehicle in all categories

I am greatly impressed by the Toyota camry hybrid. It has a great deal of power for a four cylinder plus electric. The seats are unbelievably comfortable after long periods of driving. The car has great visibility from all windows. It is truly a joy to drive; handling beautifully in all road conditions.

Good Toyota craftsmanship

Love the keyless entry and basic layout of the interior. Still learning the new technology. It grabs a bit on both the gas and the brake. The new safety features were very desired (BSM, Backup camera, etc). I wish there was a way they could have the hybrid battery and still allow for the back seats to go down since I can't pack anything large or clumsy in the car. This, I think, is a big negative and I can't understand why they can't make appropriate adjustments in the trunk area.

Best Car and Best Hybrid Ever Owned

We were incredibly fortunate to find and purchase a 2014.5 model Camry XLE Hybrid and couldn't be happier with our purchase. After driving Honda Accord, there was no comparison. The Camry drives and feels more luxurious. The earlier reviewer who said the Honda was "noisy" is correct. Hondas generally tend to be loud and that is a widespread opinion at the very least. Even a couple of leasing reps at Enterprise Rent-a-Car said that both engine and road noise is louder in Hondas. If you find a Camry hybrid on a lot and are considering it. Don't even hesitate because it will get snatched up fast. We are averaging 43.6 mpgs in combined driving, which is higher than the estimated combined average on the sticker.

Camry 14.5 surprises

My wife and I were car shopping and decided to check out the Camry. Never having owned a Toyota before, I was reluctant to give the "big" car company a shot. But the hybrid was of interest, and reviews listed the reliability as excellent. Well, I have to say, anybody who thinks a Hybrid lacks power or zip owes it to themselves to try the Camry Hybrid. It was amazingly quick and handled passing cars and hills with ease. Very impressive in normal driving mode. The engines switch so quietly you never know they are even doing it. Shifting is seamless, In ECO mode, the car averages 7 mpg more in mixed driving. That has resulted in an easy 47 mpg average going back and forth to work, and running errands on the weekend. The EPA estimates do not take into account ECO mode. There is also an EV mode for electric only, really only good for a short trip and back in slow moving areas. The seats are leather with soft suede middles, very comfortable. Plenty of leg room, comfortable seat adjustments. Just a great example of comfort, economy, and zip.
