Explore the 2000 Toyota Celica

Great car for twisty roads.

Pretty hard to find a car with sporty looks, great handling, good gas mileage and Toyota reliability all in one package for a modest price! My second 7th Generation Celica, previously had a 2005 which I thought was the best car I had ever owned. Think the 2000 is better with the 2ZZ engine.

most fun car I've owned

Toyota has always been a great brand. I have no idea why they stopped the Celica at 2003. They need to bring it back, most fun car I've ever owned. Would buy a new one if that came back.

Reliable, fast, and great handling.

So far i've owned my GTS for 2 years and what a great car it has been. There has never been a moment where I feel reluctant to drive her. I come out of work excited to leave home driving something so light and quick.

Very Good Car Overall

I bought this car new in 2000. It's been very good overall. It is quite comfortable and reliable, as long as you get a good mechanic to work on it, which I have done for the last 17 years. Acceleration is good. Front seats are comfortable. Rear seats are a bit cramped. It has a quiet ride, which I like. Goes fast without you feeling it. Has a very attractive exterior design.

This car is a princess

My spouse was in love with this car. Every time I have it serviced, people say it's a sweet ride. I wish I had saved the names of all the people who said "If you ever want to sell it..."

Extremely reliable, easy to drive

Loved this car. Roomier in the back than appears. Very comfortable drive for front passenger. Quick, powerful, and decent drive in inclement weather

Best car I've ever owned

It's too bad that Toyota doesn't make this model anymore because I would buy another one in a heartbeat.

Love our "vintage" buy

We are loving our little Celica. It may be old, but it's so fun to drive. Toyotas last forever. We love them.

for an older model, it's held its reliability, fun

We have always wanted a Celica as an extra "fun" car. When one came across our path at a very reasonable price, we were delighted. Definitely built as a sports car. (The only drawback was cigarette smoke smell in the interior, which we have almost eradicated.)

Stylish and affordable car, great gas mileage

Reliable Toyota dependability, very fuel efficient at about 30+ MGP. It's also a sporty ride, that is fun to drive.
