2018 Toyota Highlander consumer reviews

Changing from a 2009 Highlander to a 2018 Highlander was a no-brainer with all the great new bells & whistles that came standard with our new car. The car is loaded with new technology such as keeping the car in the lane of traffic, intuitive cruise control, warning of cars next to me, etc. The only thing it doesn't have are the 2 levers that allow the middle seats to be folded down from the back end of the car. Otherwise, the car is really great!

I enjoy driving it on the interstate and in town. It is comfortable to drive on long trips. I especially enjoy having eight seats to compensate t I enjoy driving it on the interstate and in town. I especially like Toyota because it is reliable which is important to me driving alone across country.

I absolutely love my 2018 Highlander XLE AWD! I am 6 ft 3 inches with degenerative disc disease in my lower back. I am able to ease into my SUV with no problem nor pain. In fact, the seats reduce the muscle spasms and pains that I experienced prior to sitting down! I am able to drive from a position similar to sitting in a comfortable chair/recliner with plenty of knee/leg room. All I can say is to test drive it for yourself and see if this vehicle meets you/your familiy?s needs. Thanks.

Excellent styling and great performance ,mileage and handling are excellent. This is my third Highlander and probably is the smartest looking one and full of features well ahead of its time.

My review is based on a test drive of a similar vehicle, the review of features with the salesman, the brief drive home and closer inspection at home. Therefore my review should be suspect until I have lived with the car for much longer.

This car is everything we need. Luxurious, great handling with lots of safety features. A great car fr long trips or for around town. And it will last for years.

We bought our Highlander about a month ago and are very satisfied with the auto in the early stage of our ownership. It handles very well and one sit's a bit higher than the sedan we previously owned which improves safety due to the better sight picture. Obviously the up-dated tech instrument panel is much appreciated.

I have wanted a Highlander for years. Two large basset hounds and trips to Florida required a Sienna, a very fine minivan. Life has changed and I finally bought my dream. Seldom does reality compete well with a dream but this is that rare time. The car is a driving cocoon with its blocking of road noise and multiple accessories that make me feel as if I have both a butler and a maid taking care of me. The dash design is user friendly as are most of the features with a bit of manual checking. Seating is so very comfortable that driving is a true pleasure. I find visibility excellent and the back-up, lane reminder and blind spot help are assets that enhance the driving experience. My passengers offer sincere praise and enjoy the SUV as much as I do. It?s name is Hal because it reminds of the computer in the 2001 space movie. Only my Hal exists only to bring me a seriously luxurious driving experience..
