2004 Toyota Prius consumer reviews

We take 11,000 mile trips across the US each summer and enjoy the reliability and efficiency of the 50 mpg. The state of WI was a surprise as the car mileage jumped from 45-48 to 54-58 with every fill up there. Once outside WI our mileage fell back to the mid 40's. The seat (pedal/wheel/seat location and lumbar support) need some attention for future models.

Great car..was ahead of the pack when I bought it in 2004..tires wear out at about 25 thousand miles, but it gets great gas mileage, and is very easy to drive.

This is the best car we've owned so far.We especially like the mileage we get In the city, if I drive speed limits and do"t accellarate too fast wecan average between 44'47 mpg. ON the cross country trip to Florida and back traveling at 65 mph(ten miles below the legal speed limit of 75 mph in most states) we averaged 47.3 mpg. On thr return trip I stepped it up most of the time to 75 mph and the mileage dropped to 44.1 mpg. Not bad.

I have never had a car that I have injoyed more.It is a pleasure to drive.I bought mine in San Angelo,Texas.I want another one but make it new please!

This is a truly wonderful car. Its great for the enviorment and your wallet. the price may be a bit steep but overall its definently worth it. One of my friends bought one and the moment I saw it I was hooked. Its gotta be my favorite car on the market today.

2004 Prius Car as been excellent. best car I've Owned. Just order a 2007 Prius. And I do get 60 miles to the gallon in town.
