Great car that everyone copied

This was the best version of the Prius, IMO. I've owned this car for 8 years and it still drives great. No, it's not going to win any races but that's not why you buy a hybrid. Fuel economy is excellent, although it decreased from average 50mpg in the first years of ownership down to about 46mpg after 10 years (not bad really). The front seats are not very comfortable and I don't recommend this car for long road trips. It has lots of cargo space in back. Driving it around town is great --small enough to fit into small parking spaces but big enough that I'm not scared on the highway.

Best Second Car Purchase

This car is amazing. I met all of my needs and gives me GREAT gas mileage. I love the exterior and interior designs. It drives very smoothly and I like that it is a hybrid car. It also has great features on the dashboard and great storage. I like the hatchback feature and the protective flap to cover what I have inside the trunk/hatch.

Fantastic car for the money.

I have had my 2010 Prius for 4 years now. I bought it with 67K miles and now have a 125K. Still getting about 45 MPG. Very comfortable. I drive long distance a few times a months and the car does 85 with no issues on the Montana interstate. Pretty good in the snow. I have had zero mechanical issues. Overall fantastic car. Happy owner.

Most economy car I’v owned

Extremely comfortable and economical. Love the features and a the fact that it’s spacious. I can fit my dog in the trunk easily. The car has lots of windows which makes it easy to see everything around you.

Futureproof

Effectively slash your gasoline prices by a third of a half. Get 450+ miles on a tankful. Travel 3 people plus luggage long distances, 4 around town comfortably, 5 around town occasionally. Fold down the back seats and bring sporting equipment, fit IKEA furiture boxes, bulky stuff. Only one quart of oil consumed every 5,000 miles. Worried about the battery? It lasts over 10 years and is covered under warranty. Reliability? One failing wheel bearing, otherwise only servicing needed the usual fluid changes, replacement light bulbs, etc.

More Than I Ever Thought It Would be

My wife and I were in the market for a used commuter car for her. She drives between 50 and 70 miles one way . . . yes, ONE WAY. My background has always been fast/nice handling cars . . . Porsches, BMWs, etc. I was steering her to sporty hatchbacks. But there was a clean high mileage (+190K!!) 2010 Prius with the Tech Package sitting on car lot. I sat in it and was instantly impressed with the interior. We then test drove it . . . again, impressed. We bought it. It's doing what it's supposed to do and still reliable as a TOYOTA can be. In 6 months she's logged in +15k miles and the Prius has been great with 48mpg ave. So great in fact, we got a second one . . . a 2011 with +180k miles on the clock for me! Well, the "fast car" with its 23 mpg now sits in the garage. There's satisfaction in seeing the best MPG you can get from your Prius in addition to being green. We love these cars . . .

Smoothest and most reliable car ever.

For the money it is the most economical you can buy. The fact that it is smooth to drive and never needs anything but oil changes and an occasional car wash, it’s the most reliable too!

Great Car

Wanted to jump into a hybrid without the cost of a new car. Drives excellent, options on my Prius III just the level I expected and wanted. I highly recommend it.
