Go with a higher end Prius (4 or 5) to get the best bang for your buck! The upgrades and comfort are well worth it! You will get a very reliable and cost-effective vehicle that will last you for years (and miles!) I now own three Priuses! They are also great in winter conditions with snow tires because of the even weight distribution of the batteries and electric motor. We ski in Vermont and drive our Priuses without any problems! The extra cargo room with the hatchback is extremely good (we fit a queen mattress folded up in it!)

Never had a problem, drives great. Gas mileage is unreal. Currently at 80k and running like a new car.

This car has exceeded all my expectations from a hybrid hatchback. The only problem is really a problem at all: you have to get used to the car's motor shutting off while your idle. It can startle some, but just press the gas and it just turns on as if it never turned off.

Hybrid systems are especially efficient and reliable. They reduce overall maintenance needs and costs and allow for a more spacious and comfortable ride with exceptional efficiency. The Prius is no exception - even my wife agrees.

This car is reliable, fully electronic, amazingly quiet, totally futuristic, and the most affordable gas-saving vehicle I've ever seen.

Plus. Exterior styling, storage flexibility, roomy back seat. Minus. Plastic rattles everywhere, poor gas mileage with ac on, front end so low out hits every curb and dip. HORRIBLE resale value... Car has dropped $10k in value in three years. Awful acceleration.

This Prius was awesome, one of the best vehicles we have owned , but are now looking for good used Prius

My only complaint is the noise it makes when in reverse. The car is great on gas and I enjoy driving it.

I have driven one before and really liked it so that's what made me purchase this one I really like this car.

It has been a great car. I have had zero issues and have had it maintained on a regular basis. I think Toyota makes a great product.
