Most reliablity car ever I had!
Awesome gas mileage range between 54 to 59 mpg and very happy motoring to travel around. Very dependability car and very low maintenance cost. Use synthetic motor oil. Fun to drive around. Great car for commuting with low gas expenses! Able to drive 500 miles per tankful.

Good for saving
This car is compact and reliable. I like this blue color and gray inside. But not enough power. I know Prius is electric. Over all I think a good buy.

Dependable
The most reliable vehicle you can buy in America. I purchased my Prius when I was driving almost 600 miles per week and when gas was at it's peak at almost five dollars per gallon. The Prius has more acceleration than assumed by most people, however the car is not thrilling by any means. The Prius is fascinating if you love engineering feats, and I have enjoyed driving this car most days. The Prius performs above average in the snow which I had inquired about via research prior to my purchase (I live in a snow state). The Prius gen 4 doesn't have the most comfortable seats offered, which is disappointing on long car rides. My only other complaint about the car has been the sluggish passing speed above around 50mph. The Prius is definitely a must buy for people who don't want to worry about maintenance costs, as the myth of the expensive batteries that you MUST REPLACE has been busted. I have just replaced brakes for the first time on the car at 84k miles (the Prius mostly uses an electric motor to slow and to stop the vehicle.) Even driving extraordinarily aggressively, the car has handled fine with loads of body roll however without over or under steer while taking turns much faster than intended. At worst I have achieved 30mpg on my 30 mile commutes (driving the Prius like a GTI) and it's completely possible to achieve 60+ mpg on the same commutes during warmer months. I have not yet driven a gen5 Prius however many of my complaints have been addressed and were corrected for the new generation. You should drive one of these if you're in the market for a compact sedan, you will be surprised. No, I am not a car salesman!

Drives like the day we took it out of the showroom
Surprisingly spacious. An amazing 50 MPG. Comfortable seats for the long drive. Good acceleration and braking. It easily cruses at 80 MPH.

Quiet comfort and efficiency
The Prius has been a superb vehicle for commuting and long distance travel. The great benefit economically and ecologically has been the great gas mileage. The comfort and amenities for a small car are exceptional.

Love my prius
Bought it for new work that I have to commute 82 miles each way. love the gas savings. Comfort is ok, but worth the money I save everyday. The car has 100K so far and runs strong. No issue, Make sure you do all the maintenance requirement. TOYOTA ROCKS

Prius is BADLY designed interior & exterior.
We bought our Prius used. First, the car is very low. Also, visibility is bad. Interior has numerous blind spots & even with a back up camera still have blind spots! Second, interior is extremely poorly designed! Everything from the dash positioning, the tiny plastic gear shifter, and the car seats. The gear shifter takes a large part of the cabin, it has a horribly designed storage space that literally contorts your wrist just to access! Terrible ideas! There is no arm rest & the cupholder cuts into your elbow. Front seats can't move all the way forward. Low ceiling is bad especially if tall, you'll hit your head. Doors are badly designed no storage. No locks for glove compartment. Rear seats can't move forward. Again no storage in center cabin. NOISY as heck interior. Terrible insulation! Speakers are low grade you need to blast just to hear the radio or use bluetooth. The only good thing is the fuel efficiency. Otherwise Prius are uncomfortable interior and extremely poorly designed. AVOID.

great car
Ok so I feel I have tested this car enough to write a review lol! I bought this car new and today it has almost 140,000 miles on it. That is not a type o that is correct 140,000 miles on a 2012 model. I?m not much of one to write a review but I just had 2015 Chevy Camaro for two weeks as a rental car and after having it and missing my Prius for two weeks I?m writing a review for each. Obviously I drive a lot for work which was the main purpose for buying the Prius and 140,000 miles later I still have no regrets. This car does lock you in my options for my next car are limited as after getting close to 50 mpg for so long I can?t imagine going too far backwards in that. Over the car is fairly comfortable in ride and finish for being a small mid-size car in its price point. Gas mileage has been great and my only complaint would be the noise level at highway speeds even though better than my 2009 Honda Civic I had prior to this. Reliability wise at 140,000 miles all I have done is regular maintenance and changed tires and car still runs fantastic. I would recommend this car to anyone it is not the most fun car to drive but if reliability and gas mileage are a high priority to you I?m not sure you can do any better than this car at its price point.

Prius Love
After almost 2 months of research, shopping and countless test drives, I finally found/decided a 2012 Prius that was right for me. I knew I wanted a used car with the best gas mileage possible and a reliable track record. I do not regret my choice one bit. I hang on to my cars for a really long time. This was the best choice for me.
