A nice surprise!
This is our 4th Prius and by far the best. It is so intuitive, from cruise control to high beam use, I'm learning something new every day. My first tank of gas got me over 600 miles, averaging up to 70 mpg in the city and 56 on the highway.

Pleasantly Surprised with style and comfort
I purchased this car expecting to get superior gas mileage but before the test drive, I was skeptical because I didn't want to drive around in a flimsy, noisy, wimpy car. When we pulled out onto the highway I saw a car speeding towards us. I had to accelerate quickly and I was amazed at the power the Prius had. I was already impressed by the exterior and interior styling which really great and now with the quietness inside the car and the smooth ride, I was sold! The rest of the buying process went much better than I expected. So now the guy and his service dog who went in to do a couple of test-drives drove home in his new car.

All cars should be made this way. Very very econom
Nice design, comfortable, very economical. 60/ MPG. Good sound system, safety features, cruise control with radar is very nice. Sits a little low to the ground. Feels more like a sports car. Great in the city.

Economical, but not cheap
For the record, I have a Two. (non-Eco) I chose this model because it had some good options, but without costing too much more than the base model, and it has a spare tire. (which the Eco doesn't have) I like the options of the Three and Four models, but they are not worth the many thousands of dollars extra that those cars demand. Build Quality - 5/5; typical Toyota Comfort - 4/5: I deduced one star because the seats have no lumbar support. Toyota moved that up to a higher option class. Too bad. The cabin is VERY quiet; hardly any road noise makes it in. The engine is not heard except when accelerating hard. It's eerily quiet when running on electric only. Materials - 4/5; commensurate with the price of the car. I would have liked to have a lithium traction battery pack instead of old-fashioned NiMH, but this is a minor gripe. Ride - 5/5. Suspension is compliant and it has independent rear suspension, not a cheap torsion beam or other single axle design. My Two has the smallest wheels, (no low profile tires) which makes the ride even smoother, at the cost of some cornering ability. Interior Design - 4/5. I deducted one star here because they use open cell foam under the armrests, which is going to squish flat and lose all its cushion after a year or two. They should upgrade to closed cell foam, at very minimal cost. Also, the sun visor only covers half of the side window when folded over that way, so that I am blind-sided by sun almost every time it is on my side. This is easy to fix by having the visor telescope on its arm, ala Honda Accord. The electronics are pretty intuitive for me, though I had to consult the manual a few times. They can be intimidating to older folks, who will either need to put in the effort to read the manual or will just only take advantage of half of what the car can do. Value - 5/5. It costs about the same as a similarly optioned Corolla, but is about twice as efficient. Reliability should be great, as Toyota pioneered this technology over 20 years ago. My previous car was a stickshift Accord. Compared to that, there is no stress to drive this. No worry about how much gas is being burnt or having to ride the clutch. Just relax and listen to the radio, CD, podcast, etc.

Love the mpgs
this is my second Prius I love my first one and I tried three other styles and when I got in the Prius I felt like this is where I belong. I've had it for a week and I'm getting like 56 miles per gallon on it. It's comfortable. It drives smoothly.

Love the 2018 Prius 4 with the bonus packages
I love the 2018 Prius 4 with all the bonus packages that were available. It is a great car, and I've only had to get gas once since I bought it (two weeks ago).

I'm Happier than I Expected!!!
Handles like a sports car. Safety features have made me feel WAY safer on the road -- they work beautifully! And you just can't beat over 57 miles per gallon on gas. I know a number of "rabid" Prius owners who've been preaching to me for years...but NOW I KNOW why they are so enthusiastic!

My Sixth Prius
I owned a 2016 Prius 2 Eco and its average mpg of 68 in the winter and 73 in the summer, so when I decided to buy a new car, the only one I looked at was the 2018 Prius 2 Eco. I actually knew more about the car than my salesperson. In fact, I think I talked her into buying a Prius as her next vehicle. My daily commute averages 100 miles a day, so getting 700+ miles out of the 11-gallon tank makes a trip to the gas station pleasurable. My children have reaped the benefits of my Prius love...they have gotten my hand me downs each time. When my son gets teased about driving a wimpy Prius, he tells people the jokes on them...especially at the gas pump. Style, beauty, economy and tremendous reliability are why I'm a Prius girl for life.

Worst Car on the Planet
I recently test drove a 2018 Toyota Prius. First impressions: it's hideous. The exterior has no style whatsoever and looks like a deformed fish. The interior looks as if they've copied Tesla with the huge iPad in the middle. The knobs and buttons are made of plastic, and look rather cheap. The seats felt rigid and didn't have much lumbar support. Mind you, these are just my first impressions. Once I got on the road, I found that the road noise was quite loud both for in town driving, and for highway commutes. The acceleration is so slow that a turtle could walk across the whole bloody planet before I accelerated from 0 to 60. Overall, the Prius is a terrible car, and I strongly warn anyone who is considering purchasing one.
