Great Little Commuter

I have almost doubled my mpg with this car!! The price per mpg was deciding factor. This car is not as peppy as others, but it is an econo-box, hybrid, etc. It is a little noisy, but again, it's a small car. I commute over 40 miles one way with about half of the miles on the interstate. Not afraid to drive with the trucks on the road, it's the other fools like me that I have to watch out for. I just hit the 1000 mile mark after two weeks and 6 days and I still have alot to figure out in this new car. I love the interior and do like the exterior, but it is different being a hybrid. I cannot say much about reliability, no experience with Toyota cars until now.

Car that gets loads of compliments

Back windshield wiper should have been centered more to wipe ENTIRE window. It also does NOT go to the bottom of the window. Placement of Toyota emblem stops wiper from being centered as it should have been. Right rear view is difficult from driver seat as the car's design prevents it. Window should have been wider to enable view. As a Techie I feel the Tech design could have been easier to navigate.

tommyboy

really enjoy this vehicle after two weeks of ownership...following my driving habits as a "grandpa" i had to fill up for the first time this past w/e(500 miles of driving)...cost me 30.00, 8.77 gallons...57 plus or minus for various hwy/city/country driving...beats filling up a silverado 1500 4x2 about twice(work truck, you know)

Great hybrid car and a very reliable car

Hybrid car, great when using the electric, run well. Good pickup when you need it. The video and display panel is helpful in developing new driving habits. Each to steer, very quiet car.

Looking for the best fuel ecpnomy

This car is awesome! I got the package III and it has everything I needed: Keyless entry Voice controls Alloy wheels Sun Roof And the best fuel economy of a non-plugin car on the market. Its a dream to drive, and the economy is amazing. I love my new Prius C

Great gas mileage

I love my new Prius C. Even though the display says I am getting about 50 MPG, I didn't really believe it until I calculated it from mileage over gas consumption and indeed it came out to 49.6 for about 590 miles. Those miles were a mixture of windy, hilly CA roads, city driving and freeway. I also love the temperature regulation for the cab - set it for your comfort level and it is there every time you get in - no messing around! The different displays are interesting and give you good driving feedback but can be a little distracting when you are supposed to be looking at the road. My only complaint (and it is a significant flaw) is the large blind spot on the back corner on each side. It makes pulling out of angled parking on the street very difficult so I avoid that kind of parking unless I have a passenger. I bought the Prius C because living in the hills I have to cross several hills to go anywhere - very pricey in a truck not to mention all that pollution I was firing into the air. Thank you Toyota for making this car affordable enough for me to own.

My first car!

Great value for a hybrid car! I've had it for 3 weeks now and love the gas mileage! I would suggest Toyota to work on sound-proofing engine since the car makes a lot of noise whenever you accelerate.

Can't ask for more great small car

For what I needed in this car, it's everything expected. My gas bill on my toyota truck was $300 to $350 a month. Now I'm driving more miles per month and my gas bill has averaged $50.00 for almost 10 months. I have 3 boys all in sports, no problem with their sports gear, and if we forget something I'm not made about going back home to get it. Wish it had 12 to 15 gallon gas tank though, other than that the Prius has been a blessing in the pocketbook.

It is what you think it is

Cars fill a different role for everyone. Some want speed, some want size, some want attention. What I wanted, great mpg, reliability and a low car payment on a new car. Best MPG for a none plug in. Toyota's reputation for reliability is bar none. Most affordable in its class. What it lacks, looks are average and it has no guts as far as the engine is concerned (I live in So Cal, if I'm traveling 65 that means there's no traffic and ecstatic). Surprises, the radio set up is awesome. Connects right to my phone for calls and music. A cool display with interesting features. I love this car!

happy in Texas

Really appreciate the cost effectivness for gasoline of my Prius. It is eco friendly. It is comfortable, easy to drive, quiet. It holds up to the quality of my previous Toyotas. For a 4 cyl car, it has the pick up speed that I need. Wish it had a bit more trunk space but for my needs it will do. Would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quality built mid/small size car.
