Was great until about 60K miles

This car is everything I need and want in a car: immensely practical, comfortable, great gas mileage, no mechanical problems, and looks great. Until this year happened! First, my inverter burned out while accelerating into a busy intersection in LA. The car just stopped! What if I had been on the freeway! Then had a $2000 engine repair 4 months ago, then yesterday I learned it has a leaky head gasket - a $5000 repair! miles! Not to mention, there is a current lawsuit brought by a Toyota dealer over the safety of the faulty inverters and the failure of Toyota to address it properly. I drive the car about 50/50 surface streets and freeways, just regular driving to work and school drop off and running errands, in mild LA weather. I bought this car with the intention of keeping it for 10 years or more, 100,000 miles or more, but I can’t justify keeping it.

Terrific Toyota

I really enjoyed the Prius. I felt I was helping the environment. But would prefer an electric car that has more range next time. I learned to drive more slowly to get the benefits of the battery much to the chagrin of other drivers.

Most amazing car I've ever owned

I am a courier and I explained to the salesman exactly what I needed and he found it and it had everything I asked for. They have a huge used car lot. He promised me that if they didn't have it he'd find it what I needed. But he had it and I am super super pleased

This car is anti-aging!

Driving this car has taken 10 years off my age. It feels so safe but it has great Zip to it. I love being a little higher up but not too high and it feels spacious inside, not claustrophobic. Very comfortable for long rides and they don?t involve stops at the gas station. I think this car looks classy and fun ...Casual Elegance.

Great, reliable car

Really enjoyed the great gas mileage and dependability. Eco mode is pretty poor performance wise but you can always flip on the power mode and take off when you feel like it.

Great fuel economy and very roomy

At 6'6" it isn't easy for me to find vehicles that are comfortable to drive. And my three kids are all over 6'. As we were looking for a car, this model came up as a question mark but was quickly at the top of the list. Even with my seat all of the way back, my kids are comfortable in the back seats. The rear has just as much cargo space as our Envoy and the integrated navigation system and Bluetooth connection is a great feature we have never had in a car. Driving kids to and from school and activities was eating into our budget, but the fuel economy of at least 40mpg has been a great benefit. It took a bit of getting used to, but the car is fun to drive and my wife and I both look for reasons we "need" to take it over our other vehicles.

Love our Prius V!

My first hybrid car, really pleased with the fuel efficiency. Handles really well. Like how quiet it is. Good room for legs in the front and middle. Wanted a bigger car for my dogs, horse equipment and other farm supplies. I can fit a golden and a collie in the back and have two kids in car seats in the middle and still have run for luggage on the floor. We have done lots of lowes trips for house projects and surprised that we can fit sooo much stuff in the car.
