2001 Toyota RAV4 consumer reviews

I bought my 2001 RAV4 in 2010. It had 100,000 miles. I have put 125,000 more miles on it.. it’s the best car I’ve ever owned. I can still get 25 to 27 miles to the gallon. Doesn’t use any oil. The seats are very versatile. Can recline be removed or flip forward. It’s got a generous cargo area. And has been extremely reliable. The reliability and versatility outweighs the lackluster power. I paid 10,000 for it and could probably sell it for 10,000. Great car, and I’m hanging onto it. It’s now 24 years old.

This vehicle is fuel efficient. Very reliable. My daughter loves driving it. This vehicle’s size is perfect for a teenagers first car. I definitely recommend this vehicle for everyday practical use.

I have used for lots of highway milage for many trips in different states and in Canada If. you know how to fix it it can run.... of course it is 2001 Sports model..most popular model

Unbelievable great car all I’ve had to do is change oil and put tires on it and it just runs and runs, ac blows cold everything works.

Bought this car for wife. It was the new style in 2001, which we loved. Traveled to Yellowstone, Montana, Wyoming , Utah and Nevada two months later. Comfortable. Today, car is going strong with 250,000 miles. Did have to replace transmission at 165,000. Having a few brake issues now. Otherwise wonderful experience.

I wanted a Toyota Rav 4, heard great things about these cars, I really like it, I feel comfy in it. It's reliable, heater is great .

Not much needs to be said about this car; it’s a RAV4. Great reliability, decent amount of interior space. I’ve always loved the crazy amount of visibility you have from the driver’s seat. Not the car for someone looking for speed, but it’s the easiest car I’ve ever driven, and for this reason I think it makes a great first car for a new driver. Definitely recommend.

Well, 2001, 54,000 miles 2 new selinoids,New ECM computer assembly, paint job Sucks and needs new transmission. And the customer service says to bad. What's that tell you.......#don't buy

Car drives very-well. It is very spacious. Extremely versatile and practical. Very dependable. I wish the paint was clear-coated. Gas mileage is great. It has a cargo grill on top.
