I love my RAV4. I traded a Matrix for it only because the RAV is easier to get in and out of and has more room. It's a great car.

2008 v-6 4wd runs great. Have 102K on mine. Only complaint is that tires only last 25k miles. Rotations need to be every 3K and tires crossed when moving rear to front or you will have tremendous road noise due to the tires wearing unevenly. Air pressure needs to be kept close to the max rated for tire. Toyota typically set the pressure low to improve ride. My tires are rated at 51 psi max, dealer set at 36, I set at 45. 18 inch tires run $150 plus.

One of the best out there. I've truly enjoyed mine. The only change I would make if on the redesign team would be to make the back hatch open up, instead of to the side.

V6, 5spd. auto, Limited : punchy engine, lots of torque, smooth shifting, surprisingly good mileage around town,uses regular fuel, feels solid except for front doors. Wish it had: speed sensing locks, heated mirrors. auto setting for headlights.

We got the RAV4 V6 AWD for our expanding family and to tow our camper trailer. The 3500 lb. towing capacity pulls our camper with ease and it has plenty of room inside for all of our gear. The fuel economy is amazing for an AWD V6 vehicle. We love it.

WHEN YOU GET BEHIND THE WHEEL OF A RAV AND IF YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT A VEHICLE, YOU WILL REALIZE THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST BUILT AND DEPENDABLE VEHICLES ON THE MARKET. YES THERE IS SOME THINGS THAT CAN BE IMPROVED AND / OR CHANGED, BUT THE RAV IS A SOLID PERFORMER AND THE MPG IS ONE OF THE BEST IN ITS CLASS. THE SPARE WHEEL MOUNTED ON THE BACK DOOR IS THE ONLY DRAW BACK THAT I FEEL THAT NEEDS CHANGED. AFTER ALL SAID AND DONE A FIVE STAR PERFORMER.

This is the first time I have owned a any kind of Toyota. I purchased this 2008 Rav4 V6 in July 2009 as a used vehicle. I was impressed the moment I sat down in the drivers seat and since owning it everyone I know has commented how nice it is. It is just the right size to hold my two Golden Retrievers in the rear with the back seat up where my last car, a smaller suv was cramped. I feel very safe in this vehicle, the acceleration and handling is superb. I have nothing bad to say about this vehicle. I have had no accerleration problems that have hit the newer models over the last two years.

Purchased this car 2 years ago brand new. I now have 74,000 miles on it and all I have done is routine service. It makes a great around town vehicle. I would not want to make long distance trips with it due to the road noise and poor seat comfort. Just be sure to rotate the tires every 5,000 miles. I will be on my 3rd set of tires soon.

This car has so much zip! I love driving it! The safety reviews are great, so I'm confident driving with my 10 month old in the back! The visibility is great, better than Highlanders and 4Runners. I would recommend this car to anyone.

I purchased a 2008 RAV4 in Oct. '08 and I have been delighted with it. Easy to drive, good storage, surprisingly great mileage - everything about it has surpassed my expectations. Overall, a great car.
