The truck is very roomy and dependable. Regular maintenance keeps it running. The truck will do any job that it is asked to do. Best truck on the market. The styling still looks relevant today. You can't beat the value and dependability of the 2006 Toyota Tacoma.

This truck has met all my needs. I've hauled with it, towed with it, daily used it and traveled with it. It has never failed me! Toyotas are so very dependable! I used it frequently to haul musical equipment. And it is a lot of fun to drive. I hate to part with it but i just have too many vehicles. I really enjoyed this truck!

Have the 2006 double cab, SR5 package with a cab. At 13 years old, it seems new still. Lots of room, long bed, tow options. LOVE it.

There was a recall on these cars 2 years ago because of the rust issues. If you didn't get it in for repairs within the 12 month window, you lost. If you purchased one that someone didn't take in on time, you lost. At 70,000 miles this will develop a horrible timing chain cover leak because of a horrible design flaw. It costs about $5k to fix that. Stay away from purchasing a used Toyota Tacoma from 2000 to 2010. Too many known problems that will leave you stranded and broke.

I actually FINANCED a 2006 Tacoma (its 2019), due to the overall ratings of this truck. FIrst off, ive owned and been a huge fan of RAM. Great truck, love the power and space, but I will say that Toyota did it right! First off-the power is pretty darn good for a smaller truck. The 4.0 V6 has some torque to it. Off the line it moves...quick, and with no issues. Reliability wise I trust it...ITS A TOYOTA! I would recommend using synthetic oil just to perfect the trucks performance and lock in the amazing-ness that is this truck. Comfortable as long as all the components i.e shocks, engine are running at normality, but thats any vehicle now a days. I have no complaints at this point, and keep in mind most Toyota's aren't even considered high mileage until 150k, and even then they push past this milestone quite easily! Overall, this truck moves well, handles its own, and looks pretty xxxx cool!! No..its not a huge truck, and probably won't win any "lifted truck" competitions, but I love it, and feel safe when I drive it. Get one if you have the means!!

Really like this truck. Drive it from AZ to NC and back twice a year. Goes up gravel roads in NC, no problem. Easy cruising on the highways, very comfortable. Put a Sony stereo in and have Apple Car Play now, stock JBL speakers are great.

Comfy seats and extremely reliable. 13 years old with 160k miles and I hauled a car from CA to MI last year with no problems. Set my cruise at 80 and just sat back and enjoyed the ride

Great truck with new frame and springs. nice bed liner. Pretty comfortable seats. Could use bigger wheels and better radio sound. Extended cab is a great space.

You guys always do the most reliable cars up there i have owned about 25 different cars but this Tacoma is the best I’m actually looking to buy a 2019 Tacoma new I’m very satisfied with it .......thanks
