Great truck! Great resell value!

Comfortable multi purpose vehicle. Loved it and got a great price on it when I traded it in. Would buy another when I'm the market for a truck.

Most reliable Truck

Best reliable truck in the market today..The Midsize Pickup segment is not a large one, and last year just four models were available. In addition to the Tacoma, buyers could choose the Chevrolet Colorado, GMC Canyon, and the Nissan Frontier. Among this quartet, the Tacoma ranked third overall in the 2016 APEAL Study, behind the second-ranked GMC and highest-ranked Chevrolet. Tacoma buyers are primarily men (87%), which matches the segment average. Their median age is 55 years (vs. 57 years) and their median household income is $96,471 (vs. $95,245). More Tacoma buyers identify themselves as price buyers (26% vs. 23%) or performance buyers (24% vs. 20%) than the segment average. Expectedly, Tacoma buyers are less likely to prefer to buy a vehicle from a domestic company (44% vs. 57%). Additionally, they are slightly less likely to agree that their first consideration in choosing a vehicle is miles per gallon (60% vs. 62%), and they are slightly less likely to agree that they are willing to pay more for a vehicle that is environmentally friendly.

Great truck!

It's good looking, reliable and very comfortable. I have a 99 Tacoma with the extended cab and wanted something that had 4 doors. It's a great truck for a family or for people with pets. Very versatile!

Very reliable and stylish

I would own another one. The seat covers wear over time but a good vehicle. The truck does have a problem shifting to a lower gear while going down hill and gas mileage could be better.

Fun To Drive Truck

I had a "97 T-100 in the past and really liked its size and handling (turning radius) and wanted another one. However, they are now high mileage and hard to find. As an alternative, I drove several mid/small pickups. The Toyota Tacoma X-runner proved to be a fun vehicle to drive (I like a manual transmission). They are also hard to find within 300 miles but I did ('07 model) and now I am enjoying my purchase. The X-runner is not a "heavy duty" vehicle but it can handle want I need to do.

Trd off road Awesome truck

I just bought a trd off road edition and im extremely happy. This is my first Toyota but im lovin everything about this truck. The v6 really gets up and i got a flow master dual exhaust and the truck just growls , sounds really good. It really helps open up the engine and can add an easy 30 horsepower. Going from 236 hp to 266 like that. in Other words it hauls a** . Love the look and the interior is comftorble and im 6 ft 2. The dash is easy to manipulate for a dvd nav screen which i installed on my truck. The suspension makes for a smooth ride with the double A arm, large coils and bilstien shocks. Its really like a military style hummer. And it handles great its not sloppy at all. Makes for a very responsive ride. And pretty decent gas milege. Much better than my v8 chevy. I got this truck to take up in the mountains skiing and to commute to work comftorbly and affordably. Its only done everything and more just get thie v6 great engine.

Low miles and good gas economy

plenty of leg room and head room. Ride is very comfortable. Has power to go uphill with load on it. Gas economy is what you expect for having a truck and also being able to comute in it
