Solid Spartan Style.

Body design is more American than current Mazda-Hyundai-Nissan "fluid" shapes. Interior style is deprived of "wao" factor. I bought an SE and interior has too many hard plastics. Seats are comfortable; however, leatherlette feels thinner than the material used on my son's 2010 Jetta. In-dash GPS should be standard. Brake calipers seems to be made by the Flinstones. V6 Engine response is rather jerky. Otherwise is quiet inside, with more room than the competition, power is enough, safety and warranty are among the best.

Best ride we have owned

This car (the VW Atlas) has the best options and smoothest ride of all the SUV?s of its class. I would recommend it to anyone- loads of inside space and very easy to maneuver .

Very Nice Test Drive

Exterior very attractive. Roomy interior. Smooth and easy to drive. Top 3 test drives out of 9 vehicles. Happy with option to turn off auto stop/start feature. No option for cloth seats and power lift gate. Middle row seat got stuck when attempting to get into 3rd row seating. 5 year warranty.

Best value for the money

This car is amazing! It is a smooth drive with tons of interior space. It has all the top safety features that I was looking for at a very reasonable price. I would recommend (and have) this car to friends and family!

VW Atlas, worth a look!

Cruise control automation is great but needs some adjustments. Seems to track shadows from semi trucks and will apply brakes or alert driver to apply brakes. On rough roads it sometimes looses its track and self corrects unnecessarily. With technology now available fuel mileage should be better (my opinion). Interior has plenty of room for a large family, we have six children ages 21-10, and we fit comfortably. Power is a little disappointing compared to our previous vehicle, a Hyundai Santa Fe, but is acceptable. We have had the Atlas for only a week but we travel a lot and have over 2000 miles already this week and overall we have been please with the car thus far.

Atlas Ups the Ante

I've owned this vehicle (Atlas SEL Premium) for a month now, and in the past 700 miles of daily use, I have fallen ever deeper in love with this crossover SUV. The exterior is big and beefy, but the 360-degree cameras and top-down viewpoint make maneuvering easy and safe. The interior is first-rate, with modern amenities and comforts that kings would kill for. This vehicle has everything it needs within its market segment, and it boast more cargo room than the competition: 96.8 cubic feet! There is seating for 7 and room to stretch out. With the primo audio system, driver and passengers can chill out or rock and roll and it all sounds great. The ride is none too harsh, and the response from the easy-to-turn steering wheel is crisp and ready to eat up curves. You'd think this tank could not corner well, but it does, staying firmly planted on the road--like a car! The v-6 engine is a tad underwhelming, but stomp on the gas and she gets up and goes quite admirably. The fuel economy, a combined 19 MPG is depressing, coming off of a turbo-diesel Jetta Sportwagen that got 45 MPG highway, but the fact that the Atlas runs on regular unleaded helps a lot. All in all, you get a lot for your money with the Atlas, especially the SEL Premium. It is a whole lot of car and a whole lotta fun!

GREAT RIDE

My wife and I have been very pleased with the Atlas so far.We have only had our car for three weeks, but we are very impressed with the room, performance, ride, and handling as well as all of the safety features. We would recommend this vehicle. But just test drive one and get ready to be impressed.

Most Comfortable Ride Ever!

Was skeptical about purchasing a VW but fell in love with the Atlas. Normally choose a van but this SUV has it all! Only had the car 2 weeks, but have been enjoying all the features and smooth ride!

Amazing vehicle for the money

This vehicle is enormous in capacity yet it feels like you are driving something smaller. It handles like a dream, with thigh precise steering almost like the car was on rails. The turning circle alone would embarrass many sedans today The engine is smooth and powerful with decent mileage for the amount of power you have available. i love the 3rd row and how much space I have behind it when they are up, and down well, it is more than I need for sure. The seats are amazingly comfortable even after many hours driving. Position and visibility are top notch and the car is perfectly fitted and finished, construction quality among the best of the best. it seems to balance a massive and solid feel with a lightness about it where you'd never realize you are piloting a gigantic SUV, it feels like a Golf (a very good thing). So issues after 6500 miles and mileage is actually improving. I am getting 24.5 at an average highway speed of 80 mph. If you want a big SUV with room for the whole family that is engaging and fun to drive I think this is really the only game in town. Great warranty too

Best 3 row SUV for the money

Have owned an SEL Premium Atlas for about three weeks, can't say enough great things. Incredibly spacious, great third row access, super comfortable front seats. Virtual cockpit is amazing. Lane keep assist, ACC and blindspot are great, car practically is self driving on the highway. Apple CarPlay is great as well. For similar features in the Volvo you are looking at $20,000 more. Highly recommend.
