Awesome car, great for family trips, camping and skiing. It is big enough to fit everything, comfortable and fun for kids to ride in. Safe and very stable.

A complete package; safety features are phenomenal, sleek design, plenty of legroom for a midsize 7 seater SUV, comfortable interior, and drives great.

We bought the car in July 2017 amd it hasnt failed us yet. It is brand new. It runs well, all updated technologies and the older kids have access to the 3rd row without having to remove the babies carrier or car seats. Very smooth ride and a quiet engine. The only thing we dislike so far is the smaller gas tank (feels like we are always filling up) and the lack luater leather interior.

WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR VW TO BRING ANOTHER EUROVAN INTO THE COUNTRY SINCE 2003 BUT TO NO AVAIL. WE TRADED IN OUR 2002 EUROVAN ON A 2018 VW ATLAS AND LOVE IT SO FAR (ONLY HAD IT A COUPLE OF DAYS). A LOT OF NICE WHISSLES & BELLS THAT WE WILL HAVE TO GET USED TO, VERY ROOMY,SOLID FEELING WHEN DRIVING, ATTRACTIVE APPEARENCE INSIDE & OUT. THUS FAR WE HAVE HAD A HARD TIME JUDGING WHERE THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE IS WHEN PARKING. BECAUSE WE CAN'T SEE ANY PART OF THE LEADING EDGE OF THE ATLAS, WE CONSISTANTLY FAIL TO PULL IT FOREWARD ENOUGH FOR FEAR OF HITTING SOMETHING. f

Car meets all of my needs and surpasses any competition in terms of best price with options I wanted. I receive compliments all the time and it is a great suv.

So much room! I was very impressed with it j side and out. Plenty of room to fit 7-8 comfortably. So glad I decided to look at it and test drive it. Gets great gas mileage compared to other SUVs and the warranty can't be beat!

Being a VW owner of only German produced models for 20 years I was very sceptical of a car being build and designed for the US market, especially at the given price point, but the car proofed me otherwise. The interior space is amazing, especially for a car that still handles as a car and not a truck. Performance is OK, could be a bit snappier, but it is a big car, and I drove similar other brands that had much less pick up. The technology on the premium model is amazing. The customizable dash board which first seemed a gimmick only, actually proofed to be very useful. Comfort of ride is A+. Styling is great inside and out, so you can tell where they had to save some money to not end up in the Audi Q7 range. Overall, the entire family loves the car.

I am cheating on my husband with a VW Atlas. I am in love with this SUV! I have been fighting the "soccer mom van" for 5 years. We have 4 children ranging from 4-14 years old. This can comfortably seat 7 adults! Not only that, but grocery shopping (which includes tons of food) is now a breeze. The seats fold down with a single finger and come back up with ease as well. This SUV glides smoothly down the road and (get this moms) there is zero outside noise! So I actually enjoy my car rides alone!! There are like 17 cup holders; which will come in handy for our 19 hour trip to Missouri, and the seats are a perfect blend of comfy cloth (base model) and commercial durability. I love the Apple Play feature, no need for Navigation option with Apple Play!! The panoramic sunroof is too cool to adults and kids alike. The gas is almost exactly what I was getting on my much more compact RAV4 and the tank is a bit larger. I cannot say enough about this beautiful addition to Volkswagen's line up. I am smitten.

It's is a great SUV and I love driving it . It gets good gas mileage and I have traveled far in it I plan on keeping it for a very long time . It's has plenty of rooms and I can fit my luggage in it to,

It is perfect for those who are looking for something different from all the Highlanders and Pilots. VW did their research and have a great competitor here. It can be optioned with all the safety features one could want like blind spot monitor, adaptive cruse control and breaking assist. It is one of the only options in the segment that offers Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. VW used their skills of space maximization learned from the Golf and applied it perfectly here. The only drawbacks we have encountered is that there is no good cup holder for the middle seat in the second row. The engine bay looks to be large enough to fit a V8 or a W8 which would have been a nice option to up the towing capacity to over 5000lbs (since a V6 TDi will probably never be an option in the US again). The VR6 though gets better than it's EPA ratings when traveling at the speed limit but does show that it is tined for economy even in sport mode when trying to accelerate quickly for short freeway merges.
