The best daily

One of the best daily drivers for the money in my opinion. VW got the 2.0 TSI engine down pat for this generation, very reliable and tunable. The interior is quite comfortable, even the backseat. I’m 6’ 1” and can sit behind myself decently, the same can’t be said about many SUVs and sedans.

2018 Golf GTI S (First VW)

Was looking for a 6-speed manual and the GTI was on the list. First ever VW test drive. Very impressed. Car is solidly built, handles great, shift action is superb, great steering feel. Wife was also impressed. So impressed that I purchased the vehicle the next day. Cannot yet speak to reliability but had to provide rating-Selected average. Only time will tell. Did purchase extended warranty.

Fun to Drive

I had a Subaru Impreza, which I feels lacking in the fun-to-drive category. I immediately took to the Golf GTI. The acceleration and maneuverability are top notch.

Perfect car!

So happy with my new vehicle! I needed an upgrade from my 2014 gti and this car has been so much fun! I’m really enjoying seeing all of the differences between my old car and this one!

Very reliable so far. great handling/acceleration

Just what I want in a car, sporty, quick, fast, fairly practical. Great handling - no pull like some front wheel cars. Comfortable and fun to drive.

All around solid feeling car. Ex

Exceeded my expectations. Fun to drive. Speed and power when you need it. Above average gas mileage. Bonus the car only requires regular gas. No comparison to the Honda Civic Si I traded in.

Love this car - has a few quirks

I was excited about the 7-option drivers seat, but it’s still pretty uncomfortable. Maybe I’m just too fat for a racing seat (5’9”, 200 lbs). I also dislike the creaking sound the sunroof makes. Otherwise, great car.

Excellent

This VW is excellent. It is very well decorated as a GTI and is quick and responsive. Lots of fun to drive. Auburn VW was a good place to purchase this vehicle. Thank you.

Great car

Great car, drives and performs well, very fun to drive and also a good every day driver. Small things, wish the USB port was more easily accessible, hard to plug in your phone if you have big hands.
