I really like this car! Only thing is it's missing a few bells & whistles that a tech savvy person like myself likes! I'll spend the extra $$$ to upgrade it when I get the chance!

Overall the car is great bang for the buck. Quality performance for its class. The interior feels about simple but it is a nice clean design. Love the exterior designing of the car. Great reliability so far and would definitely recommend!!

Carfax lies about previous damage, dealer has been quite accommodating, been back twice in first month. Expect more issues as the miles go on, A/C works part time, weak engine but decent fuel economy.

Traded in my old automatic for a manual 2014 Jetta & couldn't be happier with the switch. Clean shifting, gearbox is light so it feels new. My favorite feature is probably the miniature mirrors on the side mirrors to help draw attention to the blind spot. Overall great car.

2014 Volkswagen Jetta 4dr Sedan Perfomance Tires (2.0L 4cyl 5M) I bought this car brand new due to the year end sales and 0% financing. I wanted a smaller sedan that would get great fuel economy and do its job. This car accomplishes all that and then some. This car went for 700+ miles on a tank of diesel. Currently averages around 550 per tank and costs just under $40 to fill up. Its a great little commuter car. On the down side, the engine lag is very very obvious in this car. Anyone who says otherwise is still in the honeymoon phase. Accelerating from a stop is very annoying. Either you get the obvious lag or you burn out your tires every-single-time. However, I'm not a speed racer so I can deal with that, but just know to expect it despite what a few are saying here to the contrary. Also, for a 2014, I feel VW should be embarrassed that this car doesn't come with a standard USB plug. Rather, it comes with an ungodly VW specific plug that only uses VW cables that you can only get from VW stores and they are RIDICULOUSLY overpriced. The car charger cables that the car comes with are a laughable 6" in length, which leaves your phone dangling from arm rest as they're too short for your phone to rest on anything. It is such a massive fail on VW's part. I'll keep the car because it does its job, but hopefully VW gets its act together on the new models. BE WARNED MOST OF ALL FORIEN VEHICLES ARE PRICEY TO KEEP UP ON MATIENCE REPAIRS/COST still VERY VERY RELIABLE

I originally did not want this car. I wanted a Jeep Wrangler, something big that would take up that road. I test drive this Jetta and immediately began a junkie for the speed and amount of power behind the engine. I have the SE and it has just enough luxury in it for me.

I've never had an issue with my vehicle. It gets amazing gas mileage (about 30mpg as a manual) and it's sporty and fun.

I like the Jetta for its spacious interior, modern hence classic exterior. I also like the standard dashboard. The Jetta drives well, behaves well on turns and stays connected and steady even on a bumpy road!!! I drove many other brands and the old BMW and Mercedes Benz are similar in comport.
