My car is a 2014 VW Jetta TDI. Excellent ride, fantastic mileage (42-48mpg). I'm very satisfied with it!

Great car for the money, fast and fun to drive. What a great mix of fuel economy and performance. I only had to sell because we couldn't fit 3 kids in the back. 2 kids was just right.

Great car, does good in snow, smooth drive.. much more spacious then previous Jettas. Has speed! Can literally go from 0mph to 40mph in half a second. Offers sportsmode shift which pretty much means louder and faster. Sleek and smooth design. Audio is great. Very comfortable! I could sleep in drivers seat, easily. I do wish I had heated seats though because the leather seats can be really cold in winter. Honestly no complaints besides wishing I had the upgrades like ashtray, moon roof, etc. Good gas mileage, takes 23 to fill tank and I can go a week before filling up, about 27 miles per gallon. If you have a Volkswagen I recommend using premium gas and taking care of it. Volkswagens can be great cars and run good up to 300k miles, if you take care of them! Change oil, get spark plugs changed occasionally, small maintenance will lengthen your cars life! I am a 3rd time Volkswagen owner, great cars. Very impressed with how safe they feel and how good they do in snow.

All around Great car . The Looks Are So classy on this car . perfomance is Great, Handles very well the interior shocks you how Good it looks on the inside! Highly Recommend this to a friend !! MPG is Awesome! Just simply Love this Car . VW Has really made me Change mg out look or there Cars . Every thing about the Vehicle will put a smile on your face .

I got this car because I absolutely loved older VWs. I got the GLI and it was great at first, it performed great and all was good. When it came time to go on a long trip it was so uncomfortable. Thing started to rattle and break. That is when I got disapointed.

Pleasantly surprised about handling, engine performance and fuel economy. Only downside is recommended 91 octane. I mix half 87 and 93. The base GLI has been eliminated and the value is not as good as in past. GLI is fun to drive.

My 2014 Jetta has a great ride, plenty of power, is sure footed, and is just the right size. If you would like to smile while driving get one for yourself.

I bought this car at 40,000 miles. Had a problem with stalling since day one. Took it back to the dealer time and time again with "it's fine". Continued to stall random times. Then finally at 80,000 miles the engine sounded awful, took it in and they're trying to tell me I need a whole new engine and turbo. Which comes at a hefty $11,000 engine and Lord knows how much for the turbo. I will never buy a VW again.

I bought the car brand new in 2014. The problem started early on prior to my first recommended Oil Change (10k miles). Pay attention. Here are the list of problems: 1) Before 10k miles - loud noise at the rear of the car when I hit a bump or even a small pot hole. It sounded like a weak suspension , but the dealer could not detect the noise problem. Brought the car to the dealer several times with no success. So I just let it go. I should have been more insistent and complained more. However, the noise no longer there for another 10k or so miles. Then again, the noise came back at around 23k miles and again complained about it at the dealership and again no detection of the noise or no resolve whatsoever. 2) Gas consumption is not as good. Getting at least 18mpg in most cases. This is a 4 cylinder engine, 2.0L Non Turbo. 3) Though the car is well maintained because I drive it more than the norm, at 68k miles the heater core failed (No Heat) and had it replaced including the Thermostat plus Coolant Flush service. I paid over $1000 for the job. Though I complained to VW (the company itself) - they said they can't do anything about it as far as helping me with the cost of repair. I still think the heater core problem is too early to be broken. 4) Now 10k more miles later (at 78k miles) this Jetta overheated. Dealer said I need a new Radiator coz it has a crack and need to replace the coolant reservoir tank. The cost of parts and labor to do the job is about $900. I called VW - the company to complain about the quality of the radiator. That it is too early to have that kind of problem . No help from VW whatsoever. What I'm saying is this, I have owned a few Japanese cars before and never had this kind of problem early on the years of the car. As a matter of fact, several Japs car I sold or traded in I never had to replace the heater core or radiator even at very high mileage. Just imagine my 2014 Jetta and already have such headache problems and costly too. SO YOU BE THE JUDGE if you are considering getting a Jetta. And remember the Major Recall it had with their Diesel Engines. VERY DISAAPOINTED AND REGRET HAVING A JETTA.

I purchased a 2014 Jetta GLI it has been 2 years and it is already falling apart. The drivers door rattles it makes wind noise and that window squeaks when I roll it down. The sunroof sometimes squeaks and the passenger door handle sticks. The car is good as far as performance gos and it looks good. The car has a great steering wheel and shifter but that is the only leather. It is a comfortable car for small trips but if you take big trips like me it get uncomfortable. The fuel economy is good.
