Love this car
I had a Jetta for 13 years and it finally died on me. No doubt I was getting another one. Found a manual (hard to find) that was coming off a lease and scooped it up. Love it! Handles really well, comfortable to drive, and the audio is great.

2016 Jetta SEL
My new 2016 Jetta SEL has only 38 miles on it! Yes you read that correctly. It came with a bumper to bumper extended warranty. SEL trim level Plus a great! deal! Ive only had it for a few days, but this is the perfect car for my needs.

Not what I was hoping for
In terms of size, age and even price this car is roughly what I wanted.. In Europe I drive a Skoda, and wanted to buy in the US the closest thing to what I have in Europe. Unfortunately, the Jetta disappointed me. The engine (1.8 liter) is too large, so the gas millage is bad, but the performance is poor compared with the Skoda, which has a much smaller engine (1.1 liter). I also find that getting in and out of the car is more challenging than it is in the Skoda. The car currently has only 11000 miles, but the AC button sticks, and the AC can barely cool the car in December-- I can't imagine what will happen in July.

Best bang for your buck
I have always had an Audi and a Jetta. Last pair were an 04 A6 Sline and 03 Jetta. Just went for a set of CPO 2017 A4 SLine and 2016 Jetta SEL. I commute daily from Stamford CT to Brooklyn NY. The Jetta is my daily and always takes a beating. Last one took me to 187k. So, my 2016, this car is simply amazing. The power to weight ratio on the 1.8T is incredible really. Fuel economy is 33.4 at the pump over 5,000 miles, this is 80mph highway and the most brutal stop and go of Brooklyn city traffic. 84 miles a day, 60 miles highway 24 miles city. My old Audi and Jetta there was no comparison of safety, convenience and comfort. We’re not too far off on the new set. The car has rain sensing wipers, pre collision warning with braking, blind side monitors and adaptive cruise control. I’m tall at 5’10 and find the car quite comfortable, my daughter is 5’1 and she also finds it quite comfortable. For the life of me I have no idea how anyone can complain about this car for the cost.

Very reliable
Hardly had any problems with it. Runs great, I drive a lot so it was perfect for me. I loved the car. The only reason I am selling it is because I want a bigger car.

VW is the best for reliability
With VW for 10 years now and owned 3 Jettas - I love VWs dependability. Great engine performance for the price, and the service packages are reasonable.

Excellent Car
The cabin is quiet and the handling is great. The manual is a joy to drive. It has enough pick-up to pass vehicles or speed up when you need to. Overall I think it has a simple yet handsome, European look. The sound system in the SE is good, considering it is four speakers in the lower portion of the doors, it's decent. Some people don't like it. I love that the infotainment screen is built into the dash instead if sticking up like an added on iPad. Plenty of trunk space. The quality of the exterior is excellent. I doubt clear coat will be peeling off as it did with my previous Honda. I also looked at Mazdas and after one or two years, they had many chips in the paint. VW paint and clear coat looks much more durable. I always admired VW paint jobs. I would recommend this car for sure.

TIght, Nimble performer
1.8 Sport Version. Just a pleasure to drive, fast, smooth and quiet. All around amazing performance at this price point. Stops on a dime in an emergency. Had a car pull out in front of me at 55MPH. They braced for a crash, never happened. VW promptly came to a stop, with complete control, no skidding.

Great choice
After owning 3 SUV's, I thought the change might be disappointing. Contrary, I simple love my Jetta Sport. Ease of parking, great gas mileage. You will be happy too if you buy one!

Fun to Drive
Small and compact car. Just the car I needed for commuting to work averaging 65 miles a day. A very good at gas mileage and cant go wrong with that 37MPG . A fun and exciting to drive because I got the manual transmission. I am loving my new car...
